Reason #146 why touchscreens in cars for anything remotely critical is a terrible idea.

Touch screens that control major vehicle functions. It's gonna suck when the OS in your car is so out of date you can't control the heat or see how fast you are going.
My Tacoma is, in fact, pretty fucking dull. But I wanted a truck that was great off road, decent mpg (not so much it turns out) and great for long road trips. It fits the bill pretty well, but is, as you deftly pointed out, boring as shit. Occasionally refer to it as the Tac-olla because it's so capable and durable…
Ooooh I'm so excited! This may be my first recall! What do I wear? Do I need to get my hair done?
I have a 93 with the 95 1.8. So the perfect combo of bigger motor, OBD1, floppyness and no LSD.
The Cross-Cabriolet is kind of a brilliant buy now.
The new badge is sweet. But damn I wanted something more.
When I paint my 4Runner...this.
I love vans and would love to have that mpg, but I assume it's way, way to pricey for my tastes. And older Sprinter is much more likely.
Question: how do the authorities usually respond to these shenanigans? They cool with it?
I have a Miata, so it's pretty well sorted for autocross, but it's still a blast to figure out where the limits are and how to drive within them as well as possible. Last time out a guy was in his wife's new Maxima. It wasn't the best car for autocross, but that smile on his face was what it is all about.
At first glance I thought it was the "General Tso" from TurboDave - a fairly well known drift truck down here in Atlanta.
I have no problem with the styling, and the recent iterations are actually probably quite decent, and good performance for the price.
Cool. Glad I could help.
I'll wait til this dude reviews the Camaro to stir that pot.
As I cube dweller myself, I was trying to say that they are so generic that anyone who thinks performance, without even considering the unreliable cars, or hey, the cars that DO perform and ARE reliable just march out to buy Mustangs because that was is ingrained in them. Much like buying the Camry because it's…
1) I AM a cubicle dweller, so I am down in the trenches with them. It is admittedly a bad analogy. I was trying to refer to the type of people who don't really think outside the box and just kind of do as their told. They are told the Mustang is performance so they think it is. They are told the Camry is the best…
I get that. I do. And hey, more power to them (pun intended). Glad people are having fun in them and enjoying them, it's just not that car for me.
He gets close. Here are why I diss the Mustang, since you asked politely:
I personally think they are amongst the worst. The light is the wrong color - too fake a white. They look like a pep-boys knock off of the Audi design, which is in itself bad. Seems like a cheap afterthought on an otherwise beautiful car. IMHO, of course.
