Please, both teams, ALL teams, in the playoffs have been doing this and the refs have let them play. I never said this game was stolen, just that the call was terrible. Vegas had plenty of time to make up for it after it went into overtime and had good opportunities to win but didn’t. It wasn’t stolen, but the major

My point is that anyone who’s been watching hockey even just these playoffs would know that’s a bad call because they haven’t been calling that cross check at all most of the playoffs. Yes, it’s a minor penalty, but not a major and a game misconduct, which is typically used when there’s clear intent. It’s a bad call

If momentum shift is a valid argument then sure, a different team may not have fallen apart the way Vegas did. My argument though, was that I don’t think there’s a team in the league that doesn’t fall apart there and at least let in 2-3 goals over 5 minutes.

The difference in the goals you mention and this one though, is that most of those goals the puck is in before the goalie gets hit. Here he clearly hits the goalie well before it goes in.

I have to agree. I’ve personally always questioned whether Ovechkin should have the “C”, and this just makes it worse. I’m not sure I’ve seen a captain behave this way in the playoffs, so there’s definitely something to it.

No he wasn’t. He was checked and started falling backward, as he was he was falling he falls into the Vegas player and that player did not shove him in any way. It’s even easier to judge in slow motion because as Pavelski falls the other player clearly doesn’t push down onto him. Just because his arm goes down and

That makes no sense, especially in this case where the injured player clearly loses balance and falls to the ice on their head. Yes, it’s a penalty for a cross check (mind you, this was a cross check that’s been ignored for penalty calls most of these playoffs), but ejecting the player due to unfortunate events isn’t

I agree, especially considering they went to a second overtime to finish the game. However, they should make a fuss about this simply to get calls like this reviewed because they’re so pivotal to a game, and a series at times.

So because both sides typically get opportunities for penalty calls let’s not fix the problem.” /facepalm

He clearly wasn’t pushed down into the ice. He was cross checked off the face off, lost his balance, fell into another player and that player nearly fell on top of him. He wasn’t shoved toward the ice in any way. If that were the case Eakin wouldn’t have been the one given the game misconduct, the other Vegas player

I wouldn’t blame Fleury for this at all. Killing a 5 minute penalty is hard enough on any goalie, but even harder when there’s a huge momentum swing in favor of the other team that gets the crowd back into the game. I don’t think there’s a goalie in this league that could’ve handled the way things played out last

I think a lot of it had to do with the momentum swing. You could feel it the second San Jose scored the first goal. It got the crowd back into it and from then on they were lucky to survive the way they did.

I can’t help but laugh at the people claiming “well just don’t give up 4 goals in a 5 minute power play”. Gee, what a thought. All these geniuses who know hockey better than the players and coaches do apparently.

The obvious problem you’re overlooking is that physical copies of software are much more prone to being lost than digital copies, for the very fact that they deteriorate. And while there are many games that are lost because of this, there’s also a lot still saved due to digital media thanks to gog.com and other compani

Somehow, someway people manage to have practically every arcade and retro game you can imagine available for download to access. Fuck, we even have companies doing that now to make a quick buck off people who don’t know how to make their own raspberry pi arcade system. So while I understand the concern, I just don’t

How would obscure stuff just disappear? Steam has provided obscure stuff for years and will continue to do so. I get your point, I just don’t buy it at all when it comes to digital only games, especially considering most obscure games only get a digital release. If anything, digital only has allowed some of the most

Yea this always gets lost in the narrative. On top of the once a day check they were also considering allowing people to share games with their friends and family, allowing them to download and play them on their own console. Conveniently that always gets left out of the conversation though. Could you imagine now

My problem with this whole issue is the people who voted to get rid of the ACA, yet didn’t realize that’s what was actually keeping them on insurance. It says something when in 2016 people voted to appeal it, yet in 2018 you heard countless Republicans up for election flip flop claiming they’ll protect the ACA now and

I get they were going at each other, and forgive me for not seeing all of this, but why exactly did Beverly get ejected as well there? I get they both had technicals already, but Beverly literally did nothing but start chirping at KD who clearly deserved a tech foul there. Not to mention KD clapping when they both got

I agree with you about guys who routinely get technicals over a certain amount of games, but let’s not act like Beverly is the only reason KD got ejected here. How many technicals and ejections did he have this year?
