I think you’re taking him too literally, as this is clearly a stunt to make money off merchandise for right wing nutjobs. I recently watched a video of someone infiltrating CPAC and the amount of absolute trash merchandise they have to buy at completely unreasonable prices says it all. Everyone is trying to profit off

No he’s right, anyone who has delved into Elden Ring lore on youtube or reddit for more than 10 minutes knows about this shield.

Console DRM existed as well and worked the same way, with a user requiring authentication to download and execute software. It didn’t require constant authentication, but at that time it also didn’t involve the game sharing that Xbox had planned for their system, which essentially made that online check in a necessity

The only limitation to their DRM was it requiring the XBOX to be online, which literally every DRM required at the time and still does.

The problem really is that they do need the dog whistles, because they need moderate voters who don’t pay attention to that stuff. What needs to happen is them being challenged on this bullshit to where they’re forced to spout their bigotry to get their point across because the majority of their policies are based

No he’s not limited at all in what he can do, he’s just focusing on things that help grow his brand as well.

No, that’s doing the bare minimum to look good to his followers because he can then boast about doing it, as he obviously does if you’re listing all the things he has done. Giving a damn about minimum wage workers is donating that money to causes that actually help those workers instead of a single person at a

The point is, having Microsoft push Sony to do things like add media apps to their console is good for consumers. Nobody’s saying Microsoft came up with it first, but competition is inherently better for consumers than a lack of it.

What’s conveniently left out in these conversations is why Microsoft was doing this, which was family sharing of games with practically no limitations. Yes, even digital games.

What does she hope will happen?

“Any tweet about various COVID medical treatments was labelled “misinformation”, even when they worked.”

I admit I follow game releases pretty closely but this take is pretty bad even if you don’t know about most of these indie games.

People keep acting like CoD is going to go away yet in 2022 it was the highest selling game, making nearly $2 BILLION WITH A B in sales. This isn’t just magically going to no longer exist somehow.

I think you're misunderstanding the situation. It's not pullback being the reason for a slightly down year, but the previous 3 years of a pandemic boosting sales to the point where 2.4% looks pathetic in comparison.

I don't think this is outrageous, was just pointing out that 30 years ago developers were making significantly less off sales of games than they do now, which is why game prices haven't gone up until recently.

That’s fine if you’re not meaning current inflation, but something to also keep in mind is the amount developers make off sales now is far more than 30 years ago. A 30% cut from Valve is nothing compared to then. Further, development costs are higher but investment in games is also way higher as well.

The current inflation is not good reasoning for video game costs to rise.

lol What’s with the BS insinuation that the Collector’s edition is a rip off because it doesn’t include the game?

$200? I think more like $100 might get sales. You have to consider people have already dished out at least $400 for a PS5, so another $200 on top of that is a bit much. I have no doubt though that at any price above $75 this will fail miserably.
