Another day, another Marvel TV series, right? Well, not quite. Although The Gifted certainly features superpowered beings, they’re mostly messed-up kids who need someone to look out for them.

Yes. I’m willing to give the show a shot, but the pilot sucked on ice because it was an hourlong script stuffed into 22 minutes. Cram this backstory in, shove a character motivation in there as well, and also fit a full story about the Bureau’s star agent disappearing alongside. Scenes were rushed and suffered from

because the whole show is winks and nods and fan service served up with a sub par script written on bearer bonds

It’s a famous D&D monster! Traditionally it’s the same width and height as the corridor of the dungeon you’re exploring, so you just walk right into it and start dissolving before you realize what you’ve done.

7.2 years is the magic number, that’s when Harry Shearer will be the same age Montgomery Burns was originally fixed at in Simpson & Delilah (81)

It’s a classic D&D monster.

It’s been 15 years since season 14 started. Just think about that for a sec.

EB White...not CS Lewis?

Well (a) he has become really successful (b) he seems to be good at tweaking Artist’s style so they can feel like they are doing something different and new while keeping what they feel comfortable with.

I know about the memoirs, and I also know he based some of the stories on his father, but it’s all such a mix that it leans very heavily on the side of fiction.

The “further down the Wormhole” section sets up the next article in the series by following a chain of links away from the current subject.

I had no idea that Dumas wrote Christine. I didn’t even think they had cars yet.

I’m only two episodes in, but I love it so far.

That last sketch was totally a warmed over version of What’s Up With That? and seemed to go on FOREVER. In fact it went so long that they had to basically cut out the goodnights.

Kind of wish Jay-Z had performed “Moonlight” with Ryan Gosling there. Also, this may not be the site for this comment, but that 2 guys who just bought a a boat Update bit felt very Jake and Amir to me.

Is that actually good? The trailer made it look terrible.

Is there a good reason this site is keeping on on DUCKTALES, a show for small children, and ignoring Nathan for You reviews???

First off...BULWORTH? An 18-year-old movie everyone has forgotten about?

My favorite thing about this is the grudge against Bulworth. I mean if you want to mock critics there are so many more recent examples of critics being idiots. I mean we have recent best picture winners like The Artist, Argo, The King’s Speech, and The Hurt Locker. Those are all pretty silly. I mean Avatar was

Yeah, because we know all those Avatar toys, games, T-shirts, and lunchboxes have been such great sellers to all those teenagers over the years. Why, the sheer number of kids running around with Avatar merchandise, begging for Avatar movies and books, is enough to populate a sports car!
