Yeah, total misuse of that bit of scripture...But as a former pastor that's a pet peeve of mine that few people share, esp since I've had to read the whole of scripture, not just my fave bits. :/ 1Corinthians 7 is my fave to put next to 13 lol. But yeah, love is only patient in the context of serving people in the name

Just a quick note on 1 Corinthians 13 It's actually about service, not about romantic love, and in other letters from Paul he talks about mutual service to each other. He also says marriage is for wussies. So as for being patient in this case it's a big nope!

Ohh chritter, this topic is a hot mess, even among us Indians... Although I think Sonny Skyhawk has a healthy perspective on it. I have real mixed feels, that I haven't quite sorted out yet.

And then they'd put me on antibiotics because apparently everyone shows up with a UTI... And as a big girl, i get all the blood draws too :(

I endorse this proposition. Of course I may be biased, since I eloped and had the 'reception' at the nearest authentic, sooper nice Chinese seafood restaurant in SoCal.(I lived in China and the mate is Taiwanese, we all speak some Mandarin) Folks who attended said that was the most relaxed, fun wedding they'd ever

In France Maghreb means North African and most likely Algerian. There's a long sordid colonial history there. The stats aren't surprising, interestingly I read an article in one of their papers about multiculturalism and how they suck at it. Anyways, the source of France's race issues is more about colonialism and
