Actually, Cruise has been doing these stunts for many years. I think it was MI 1 where he rode on top of a train going 60mph, holding on with his bare hands. And I don’t think other actors do these extreme stunts; Cruise is a member of the stuntman’s union, and he subsidizes the insurance on these movies.

I think that in addition to young puppies, small senior dogs might be at risk under the covers, perhaps no longer strong enough to struggle out from under.

Cruise said MI6 was his last in the series; at 55, I think that’s wise. No movie is worth hurting yourself.
