I looked at that photo and instantly wondered if there was a feline equivalent of down syndrome... (there is)

Yep, they need to be held accountable. In my opinion a lack of accountability can explain many of the issues with police.

Oh gawd, we have the same mother.

I’m pretty sure she gets the luxury of hiring someone to do it.

So much of this comes down to the jury. I never want to be subject to a “jury of my peers”, I would much rather have a jury of educated individuals who have a competent grasp on jurisprudence.

The doc makes a good case for reasonable doubt. It doesn’t really show him in a good light, but it does make it clear he didn’t get a fair trial and that his nephew, especially, got an incredibly unfair trial.

I suspect this is how the police felt, in both cases. They had this guy who is skeevy and does things that are frightening and sometimes cruel, and they wanted to put him away. To them, it felt obvious it was this specific guy.

What I found really interesting is they alleged one series of events in Avery’s trial, and another in Brendan’s.

They also said his sweat was on the car. Which seems like the type of thing that would be easy to plant (find a sweaty t-shirt). The lack of finger prints is very odd.

Core law enforcement officials, who would later investigate this murder, were literally being deposed for the suit in the month preceding the incident. Avery *might* be guilty, but the moment they allowed the defendants in the false imprisonment civil case on the *fricking crime scene* they completely contaminated the

I think there was a boatload of reasonable doubt on Avery. That’s not to say I think he is innocent, but we don’t convict people because they may have done it. There were several people who I thought *may* have done it.

Most hormonal BC has a similar safety profile to Ibuprofen, and is arguably safer than Tylenol.

This goes for a lot of medications. As a person with two chronic, “you must take meds every day for the rest of your damn life”, conditions it’s sort of infuriating that my totally safe and lifesaving medications are only

Well, I was thinking more in the view of the GOP. He’d have a chance as a dem, but of course, he’s not a dem.

His one Hispanic friend is his wife.

I don’t even get this. Is it suppose to be funny? What’s suppose to be funny about it?

Love how they “respond to sound” before they have regular brain activity.

My bet is there is something else wrong with his vision, making removing the cataract pointless. But I could be wrong.

Given how ridiculously easy it is to fix a cataract, this doesn’t make sense.

Yeah, I’m totally on team rehabilitation. But his rehabilitation needed to start with some significant prison time. His recklessness is a danger to the community. Mommy and daddy should have served time, too, for contributing to the delinquency of a minor by utterly failing to provide supervision.

It all depends on how good of a contract their agent negotiated. Generally, they do receive royalties, but how much can vary dramatically.
