I’ve driven through both as part of an Indianapolis to Denver road trip with a few stops along the way, and i agree it was actually quite nice.

COBRA is expensive as all fuck. Plus you still have all the copays and deductibles you’d have otherwise. Most people don’t have enough spare cash sitting around to cover 3-5 grand for the COBRA insurance and associated medical costs.

Yea I guess for stuff like that it would make sense, otherwise it’s getting unwieldy if you have a regular smart plug + a USB adapter, that’s like 3 inches of wall clearance to plug in your lights

Just curious, what USB powered devices are people looking to turn on/off remotely? The only things I have that are USB-powered are devices being charged and some small electronics like a Nest cam.

The big takeaway for me is that there is that there are people who have to depend on this to support themselves because our society leaves them few…
