YYEEESSSS!!!!! This was one of my all-time favorite movies when I was a kid! I basically watched Explorers, D.A.R.Y.L., Flight of The Navigator, Goonies, Short Circuit, and Harry And The Hendersons in an infinite loop. Also sometimes The Three Fugitives, and Turner and Hooch.

I adored this movie when I was a kid. Most people were all about The Goonies, but this was my Goonies. And I loved Maniac, so the idea of an actual Explorers series spearheaded by Fukunaga? Sign me up.

Not really a ton of competition for the position of “favorite smuggler.” I think the only other one I can name off the top of my head is the Onion Knight.

The first novel is going to be tough to adapt, in that for the most part it isn’t really a story, just a series of vignettes of iconoclastic geniuses realizing when it’s time to buck the trend and reform society, all as foreseen by Seldon.  It’s not really much of a through-plot until the Mule pops up and throws…
