I think it is unfortunate that they may be cancelling the story movies because of Solo. Personally I think Solo is a pretty good movie that did what it needed to do. Unfortunately I think a combination a factors put in the position of being a disappointment.

Also fucking boring. 

Personally I think that many of the spin-off proposals are off the mark. Solo was misguided and retconned an existing character in a detrimental way. For all intents and purposes Obi-Wan’s character needs to be a reclusive character on Tatooine for many reasons, not the least of which is a need to avoid attention. …

There’s so much galaxy left to explore...like Hoth, Bespin, Endor, the bounty hunters on ESB other than Fett, Jabba the Hutt, Greedo’s backstory, the adventures of Yoda on Degobah, the Rise of Admiral Piett, Biggs, Porkins...

No such thing as Star Wars.

Tattooine is so f-ing boring.  

Tatooine has been in 5 of the main Star Wars films. We’ve seen it enough.

I don’t think there’s any likelihood of Qi’ra appearing in another live-action Star Wars project. The whole reveal with Darth Maul was a nonstarter. Maybe some animated show set in the early years of the New Republic. They’d probably get Clarke to do the voice.

It doesn’t help that they kept retreading old moments. I loved Rogue One, but Solo? Meh.

After Solo, I suspect all of the “story” movies are history. I liked it, but it felt like an adaptation of an Expanded Universe book, or a live action version of one of the animated shows. And I just don’t think there’s a big enough audience for one of those movies. Certainly one about a “fan favorite” (i.e., obscure)…

Please, Tatooine is not that interesting

A truely meta thing would be to cast Tom Cruise in this remake.

Man, could Tim Curry chew up scenery. I still remember the monologue.

I wish they would just merge Luke Cage and Iron Fist into one series and then spin off Daughters of the Dragon into their own.  Honestly, it would be a better configuration of the characters then they are now.
