It’s amazing what you can achieve with the support staff you listed above, minus the need to work 40 hours+ a week and commute 10 hours a week and/or go to class during the day and study at night.

The more I hear from Jameela the more I like her. She was on Room 101 in the U.K. when I first realised she was more than  C4 eye candy for their hipster progs on a Sunday.

A lot of the articles I’ve seen mention her as an afterthought. Like “he went in and shot these people” and then it casually mentions a woman was shot outside by an ex first. It was confusing me for a while, but now that I know she’s black I guess it’s not as surprising. Ugh.

This is exactly what I came here to say. In any other administration, we’d be seeing all kinds of stories about this weirdo HUD Secretary who’s incompetence is affecting the lives of millions of Americans on or below the poverty line.

Came here to say this exact same thing.

I worked for HUD funded agencies for 5 years. We were already underfunded and working with hiring freezes and delays because it was post-2008. I can’t even comprehend it getting worse. There are so many true believers who have committed themselves to housing that it hurts me that Ben Carson is the head of HUD.

Because Ben Carson is purely incompetent. Everyone else is corrupt and also hired specifically to undermine and dismantle the department they’re supposed to lead, all in the interest of making sure the richest get even richer.

As though a “distaste for trump” is really a amazing quality as opposed to barely meeting the lowest bar of humanity. I think about that a lot.
