I didn’t notice until an angry commenter pointed it out on the trailer that the AV Club shared on facebook, unsurprisingly he blamed “feminism”.
Ironically he just proved how necessary it is to have even more well-written female characters.

I don’t think so, it felt like desperate people taking desperate measure to escape an existential dystopia.
What they did was sick but it just shows the dire situations they were in to show the extent they would go to kill themselves.
It doesn’t make it right and I don’t think the story was every trying to claim they

Not really. There’s no plot details in those first two sentence that aren’t revealed in the first 15 minutes.

I don’t think the film needed to be any longer than it was and those flashbacks weren’t necessary for the plot. We get the information we need, the rest can be left to the viewers imagination (or tie-in books if you’re so inclined).
Not everything NEEDS to be spelled out.

But unfortunately Clara’s best season was her last one, so if you could somehow cut out her first to give Bill one more that would be perfect.

I wonder if they’ll keep that logo for Episode X, it might be weird to change up the intro for the third film in the trilogy.
Not that it matters much.

You don’t but once you know that you don’t buy another ticket or the DVD or a ticket to the next one.
How do you know if you like the new brand of Cola before you try it? You don’t, you take a risk and either that pays off or it doesn’t but you take responsibility for your own actions like an adult.

“Maybe the best advice here is to just let people have their own opinions and not try to tell others how they should think or feel about it.”
You mean by starting petitions to have it ‘removed from canon’ or whatever?
I agree, just let people have their own opinions, but once you put your name to a petition it stops

You mean amazing lightsaber duels like... THIS?

But he said “turn” them gay, if he’s talking about Poe and Finn then that wouldn’t be turning them anything as their sexuality haven’t been revealed.
Unless he thinks all characters are straight by default... Oh wait, of course he does.

Did they do the same thing with the widescreen release of The Wire.
They cropped the original 4:3 release and people who had already purchased that on Amazon had their version changed whether they wanted it or not.

“It’s not removal because the art is still right there. The show is still on the air. The episode didn’t get pulled. The scene didn’t get taken out.”

“If we can agree that degrees of assault exist, and if we can agree that the punishments for these assaults should also have degrees to reflect the severity of the individual crimes, then why is the punishment (or accountable reaction if you prefer) identical for each instance?”
Because most people guilty of

“They’ve all lost their jobs as punishment. Isn’t that the same punishment?”
That’s not a fitting punishment for Weinsien though. If a judge unfairly reduces a murderer’s sentence does that mean we should reduce the sentence for all cases of assault to make it “fair”?

“Actual journalists just rack up debt and drink themselves to sleep every night.”
This applies to every career though right... Right?

“ in fact I be surprise if any of them have watched the previous shows beyond a few TOS episodes.”

“What does Disney need Hulu for, anyways? They’re trying to make their own streaming service anyways.”
Buy it and merge it with their own streaming service. Not saying they should but I’m sure it’s what they would be thinking if they could.

The difference is the schedule a show like Crazy Ex Girlfriend runs on compared to Saturday Night Live.

Not a fan of the Coens?

The comic is set in a different dimension, which is there way of making it non-canonical without saying it’s non-canonical.
I don’t think Dan or Justin read it, let alone care about contradicting it.
