Executive salaries are indeed ridiculous, and I’d love it if they’d all take a huge cut to prevent furloughs/layoffs like many executives are these days, but saving millions (with an m) that’s not going to offset year over year losses of billions (with a b).  Automakers are still screwed.

He was building up to the next gear where noted that their 2019 “profit”was less than what they paid just a handful of executives. Was referring to full production pre-COVID-19 times when they should have been printing money with the F-Series.

Did you notice that they barely made a profit last year? What excuse did they have before the world blew up?

Exactly this.

I thought that I was the only one having issues with Brooklyn Nine Nine. It just doesn’t feel the way it used to for me. I thought maybe it was the change of networks but I didn’t realize that its been on for seven seasons. You’re right. It’s time to wrap it up.

It was subtle, but they peppered in some clues all along.

“I feel like seven seasons should be the max for a sitcom.”

I remember really loving the first two season -then each season after that got a little worse - and I bailed sometime around season 5 or 6. Sitcoms just aren’t mean to go for 11 seasons. I feel like seven seasons should be the max for a sitcom. I can’t think of any offhand that didn’t go longer and have some real dud

I’ve been rewatching the early seasons and remembering how funny and sweet this show could be at its peak. It's also been a reminder of how very good members of this cast could be, with my particular favorites being Stonestreet and Burrell. I think it's been a long time since this was consistently very good and it

Why would you pay ahead on a 0% loan?

I am SO SICK of hearing people whine about Cash for Clunkers! NOBODY in the market for a new car today is going to want a rusted-out 1994 Astro van that was one major repair from the junkyard anyway 11 years ago.

Why don’t these cruise lines go to the Panamanian, Cayman, or Liberian government for low/no interest loans e.g. a bailout? I mean what do they pay taxes for? Amirite?

“You didnt register to avoid paying taxes here huh”

That’s a tank of gas and 2 Americans

I always wonder how real-world fuel economy will fare when you probably have to beat the snot out of the engine on the regular. My old Mazda2 was small and light with a 1.5L 4-cyl but it didn’t really do that great on fuel economy because every entrance ramp was a wide-open-throttle affair.

Between the Trax and the Equinox. Trax is tiny, this is a bit bigger like a Cruze-sized and the Equinox is on the larger end of the compact class.

Then you should also recognize the Blazer, which is styled basically like a Camaro crossover.

Somewhere in the obscurity bin. At this point I only recognize 4 cars from Chevy:

Yeah i agree!

Part of the enjoyment of Nascar is the fact that a lot of the pit positions require a lot of fitness and skill. I think a lot of Jalopnik commentators who complain aren’t watching anyway and won’t be attracted no matter what engineering changes they make.
