That, and certain Lexus models just announced Apple Car Play (last month or so, IIRC).

Fun fact: the last car to offer a cassette deck from the factory? Lexus SC430.

I love this. Extreme views bingo, perhaps?

Throw in the electoral college........oof

The current voting system makes it almost impossible for an independent because it would be seen as a “Wasted vote”.

Ah, the eTorque Ram.  Thanks.

Obligatory.

I think it’s pretty clear here that FCA was just using Renault to get access to Nissan’s tech. I’m just not sure how that works into a human relationships metaphor.

Oh good lord, I never bothered to eve look inside. Yikes!!

Damn. He got George Costanza’d.

Since we seem to be on the subject...a carpenter who worked on my house addition was always trying to get his wife to do a threesome. Well she finally gave in. I saw him again a few months later. She left him for the other woman.

I’m sure they’ll be restrained and understated.

Renault didn’t care what Nissan thought.

True, but the people who agree to have threesomes with you are probably not the people with whom you want to have a threesome.

Toyota:

Threesomes are pretty achievable if you just ask the right people.

FCA is like a would-be mistress trying to seduce a man (Renault). FCA is all, hey baby do you want to merge? Renault thinks that’s totally hot and agrees to do it. They book a hotel to which FCA shows up first. Getting impatient they call FCA - where are you? I’m not waiting around forever. Renault is nervous now

Neutral: Threesomes are tricky and it just didn’t work out. Worth the try... but stop acting like the girl you dumped in high school looking for some deeper meaning.

Neutral: Did nobody at Renault stop to think about what Nissan might think about this silly venture, or what they might want out of it? Because, IMO, Renault was going hard for this merger and Nissan (and Mitsubishi) was an afterthought, like Renault thought Nissan would just fall in line.
