Yeah, but they're probably too small and too lacking in EV tech to offer much to FCA.

So the French guy made the mistake of arranging for the menage without asking his longtime Japanese roommate if she would be into a three-way with a long-in-the-tooth Italian/American friend.
Rob Emslie is graverobber.
You mean to tell me this didn’t work out? I’m shocked. SHOCKED!
Yeah, I think this thing has 3-4X the rust that the seller is claiming. This would be worth about $2500 for the utility of it, and when it fails, drag it away.
“Most Ford trucks of this vintage have a hell of a lot more rust on them than this Bronco.”
A rusted out body and beat interior doesn’t look so nice to me. Who’s going to strip down the paint, cut out the cancer, weld in new panels, and restore a 1996 Bronco? Why put $10k into a $3000 suv?
You can see it bubbling at the bottom of the tailgate. It’s been happening already.
With where prices on these have been, this is a nice price.
And as I mentioned during a somewhat recent NPOCP Bronco with the camper back, these things had pretty terrible handling, even back in the day. At least Dandy Dick Landy was only turning off at the end of the drag strip.
Alot of these trucks rust right there too...between the tape and the fender flares, I bet there's more rust than the OP is letting on.
Beware those plastic fender flares! That is the first place these trucks will rust... wonder what’s underneath. The damaged tailgate is going to be a huge PITA to fix. Some rust you see + probably some you don’t + damaged tailgate + over 200k miles = CP.
You had me until RUST. The price is nice all looks good and accounted for, but I’ve been burned with rust. The issue with rust is that it damages stuff you don’t think of. Like I’ve had to replace all the brake lines on a car that didn’t show any significant rust, but had spent time in the Salt belt. It started…
Has Kinja been freezing your entire browser and causing Firefox to display that dreaded yellow bar with the “It seems a tab is slowing down your browser. What would you like Firefox to do?” text at the top of the screen? It seems to me that whenever I load a page with more than five or six comments it does that.
It is amazing how little power they were able to get out of 351 cubes just two decades ago.
CP. That tape job across the back window to probably keep water out (or keep the window up) and the recently added and badly applied undercoating to no doubt cover up rust has me thinking this turd is worth about $1000 less.
NP all day long considering the overall condition of it! Plus when the new Bronco is actually released, it will likely increase in value since many older guys with money will want to restore this thing to go along with their new one.
I had both a 98 and an 05 with the V6 and six speed and loved it. great comfortable roadtrip, commuting, whatever car. Fun to drive. Out of all the cars I’ve owned, that’s (the 05) the one I probably miss the most.
As long as they’re outside, spiders are friends. I’ll kill the mosquitos in my house, thank you, don’t need help.
This. It was a mid-90s Hyundai. That should tell you everything you need to know right there. Ugly was just icing on the cake.
