This is a hoax/stunt but I ain’t even mad. It’s the work of a fiendishly clever Swedish marketing company. Going through their back catalogue was a great read, they’ve done some particularly impressive viral stuff: grass feel sandals for Carlsberg, vegan fishing lures and the “pause pod” which was featured by Steve

What was the most efficient?  I’m guessing bicycle.

I like this: “the plan would be to live comfortably off of startup investor capital until the company went bankrupt in 6 months.” because I have been involved in a startup that did exactly that. It is not uncommon.

That’s 6 mph.

Now playing

I’d say that it’s “beyond the pole” myself.

i remember getting a pogo stick once for a birthday. so it being a gift, it didn’t cost me anything. between me and 3 siblings, we used it all of 2 hours, then jammed it into the back corner of the shed. because it was more work and balance than our current fleet of bikes, and balance balls. unicycles offer more

BRB, starting a dockless bigwheel company.

I 100% believe this is a joke.

Besides the obvious stupidity of this. Pogo sticks aren’t more efficient than us just walking. Back in high school one of the few things I did to prove I wasn’t a useless scumbag. Was participate in a study that would show the most efficient form of land based human powered movement.

It’s worth pointing out that this venture is owned by ODD Company, which is a viral marketing firm in Sweden. https://oddcompany.se/

It’s also very, very difficult (at least, it was for 10 year old me).  I had an easier time riding a unicycle than going anywhere on a pogo stick.

No, when the citizens fall in the potholes , the    potholes will be filled. Synergy!

I haven’t laughed this hard in a long, long time.

“My Venti Americano! IT BURNS!”

It’s as dry as the Atacama. What would you expect from the culture that literally invented trolls?

Needs cup holder.

As someone who did have a pogo stick for at least some of their childhood, I can confirm that it is a significantly less efficient mode of transportation than walking.
