I don’t understand all the Excursion hate. My dad’s just passed 250,000 miles and it’s one of the most useful vehicles he’s ever owned. For all the griping on here about crossovers that don’t do anything well, here’s a real suv that hauls 8+ people, tows like a champ and doubles credibly as a truck.

I consider the Excursion to be the SUV equivalent of a 15 passenger van.

We use to have an Excursion when i was young. We lived in a pretty remote location, and when the Prime Minister of Canada came to visit the region, the ended up renting it from us for a week for him to ride it. I was also once backed over by an Excursion in my school parking lot. Same town, different vehicle.

This is a terrible list. I could defend every car here, they all serve a purpose or have their reasons (well, maybe not bro trucks, but if you like em, why not?).

I only give the Excursion a pass because it was available with a V10.  Really, the design language isn’t any different from the Expedition at the time, and that was a pretty handsome vehicle, as well.

Fair warning, I’m about to write a book here....

LOL JUST KIDDING GUYS *WINK* 420 LAWL

The MGU makes 90 torques. That is quite a lot. That is the max torque of an econobox engine.

Sounds like a neat system that, if proven successful, could easily find its way into other FCA vehicles without sacrificing much in the way of interior/cargo volume or price.

I started reading and then saw the picture with the gaudy, horrible looking belt buckles on the back of the front seats. That almost made me vomit in my mouth. This is what we have come to? “Look cletus!!  Ma belt buckle matches ma truck buckles!”

Toto was not available for comment, as he is out of the country, blessing the rains down in Africa.

I’m just impressed that Fiat-Chrysler uses the term “Mild” for anything RAM. I would have been less surprised if they called it the “Demon Hellcat Electro-Grabber Flux Capacitated Man Sperm Deer Killing Supplemental Electrical Suppository. SXT.”

Yup, gotta use it at the right time

Maybe this is a typo.  My electrical engineering skills are middling at best, but I suspect he may have meant 480 amp-hours, since that measures battery capacity.

Elon says your opinion doesn’t matter:

I’d be ok with the prospect of a flying car for myself, if it didn’t involve airplane level upkeep costs.

Yeah, if we’re to get to flying cars we’d best get to completely autonomous cars first, and then adapt from there.

Neutral: Do Flying Cars Interest You, at All?
