I got my replacement Trans used from E-Bay, guy said it had come frm Japan, worked fine. Forgot about Jag, they use the same case but differing internals than the BMW. I just don’t think they are up to the torque and the heavy car and have a short life.

The Cadillac Ciel is such a bold and beautiful example of what Cadillac could be in a perfect world. It’s audacious, extravagant, and unapologetically American, yet somehow still retains a level of class and dignity in its styling. It’s easy for a concept car to look dated just a few years after debuting; no fault of

The depreciation on Range Rover Sports as well as the other models is ridiculous. You can pick them up for $8-15k, be the keeping up with the Joneses and or footballer family in your neighborhood and just use what cash you’re saved from buying a new vehicle on repairs and fuel. When it becomes too costly the donation

Usually due to lack of maintenance and/or improper fluid use.

Kyree out here with the tape measure and the facts.  Perfectly summed up... the Acadia is moving back into the full size category.

Came here for this, left satisfied.  I’d like to see how much the sales dropped when they downsized it after the first gen.

So much this.

Perfect reply- beat me to it. I never understood why GM downsized the second gen Acadia while the Traverse remained in the same market with the Explorer, Palisade, etc.

Great post. GM made some awesome hybrids, and I agree that a bit of electrification would serve the Acadia well.

Yeah, I know a lot of people who had a first gen Acadia/Traverse etc who were ready for a new one found out the 2nd gen was way smaller. Ending up buying something from another brand.

Fairly odd omission from the article and actually what i googled immediately after reading the headline.

Yep this is it. It also makes the lineup make more sense. A few years back, when the Acadia had gone down a bit in size, it was rumored that GMC big wigs were wanting a crossover that would sit in-between the Acadia and Yukon. The size of this new one pretty much fills in for that role while still being small enough

Acme Barricades??

Thinking about it, GM also has a lot of “Fielder’s Choice” to. A dribbling grounder that gets the new engine to first base, but sends another engine out.

They say that it does, with future versions being electric.

Yeah. 28 cars were damaged, plus property damage. They must have left out a zero in the $14,000 figure. I saw a torn up Sienna and damaged garage door in the video. The damage to those alone is at least $5k.

Quite so; these days a new bumper alone is over $2,000.

I must be the odd ball out of all of the replies. I like these things. I saw one in person and thought it was really cool. Also, I was in the market for a toy/small roadster recently and this was on my radar. Then a 2000 M Roadster came up for sale at a price that I couldn’t pass up.

I thought of the opposite - they threw in the towel on competing with the 911 on performance and made tons of compromises for comfort. The engine is on top of the front axle instead of behind it. Weight distribution is shifted forward by a lot.

This is my understanding as well, is that the front half is IS.
