Where the X5 is built has little to do with its reliability, or lack thereof.

In the case of the Phaeton, it’s more that the Bentley was a Volkswagen, replete with the VW/Audi-style longitude-transaxle layout. That said....no. No Phaeton. Even VW techs can hardly service those, they’re so complex.

The LS is definitely the best answer here, though I’d spring for an L. And do know that control

I didn’t know about this,. but I read the Bloomberg investigation, which was very thorough. What a heinous individual, along with his accomplice, Commissioner Abba Kyari of the Nigerian Police Force.

Well, sure, and I get the industry of faking money and influence in order to get money and influence.

That’s fair. I’ve noticed the wireless CarPlay in my 2022 X5 ‘45e uses so much energy, the wireless charger can’t keep up with it. On top of that, the wireless connection seems to be disrupted by being near too many power lines or transformers.

I think the part that makes me regard him as a “basic bitch” is the sheer stupidity of brazenly flaunting one’s illegitimate wealth on YouTube. I mean...who does that? It seems like there’s no faster way to attract the attention of the FBI, IRS and any other haters. And the YouTube channel can’t have added much to his

The early MyFord/MyLincoln Touch system, which I had in a 2014 Lincoln MKS, was pretty awful.

Sure, but the latest ICE BMWs have remote start functionality. I imagine they just disable that feature in Germany.

I imagine the new Prius will win car and the CX-90 will win utility

Feeling old today, are we? :)

I know that feeling, intimately. I was just looking at E92 M3s the other day.

I believe the idea of an adult-only flight was a plot point on the Toronto-based TV show Workin’ Moms, where it didn’t go over especially well.

You kid, but part of the Aztek’s issue was being on a minivan platform, and the hard points that that created. Specifically, the U-body platform, which had little-to-no flexibility. So you got small wheels, slab sides, a square-ish profile and a relatively long wheelbase. Those things don’t make a good-looking SUV.

The Ciel’s cutlines also illustrate what flattering proportions look like. Modern vehicles with the most flattering proportions, in terms of dash-to-axle ratio, generally are designed such that the path of the A-pillar continues to meet the center of the front wheel. To wit:

This is one of those concept cars that only ever existed to showcase its automaker’s next era of design. They were never going to build the shit.

I present the 2000 Jaguar F-Type Concept.

That it did. I should have had my transmission replaced instead of having it rebuilt.
