I have an iPhone, I voted iPhone.

I have a 3G and am considering a 4. The only thing that might hold me back is Android. I know it has been a while, but I have not yet formed enough of an opinion to make the decision.

I use both, my thumb drive is mostly for retrieving data files from equipment or sharing files with others (I work in an academic lab).

That actually describes my experiences exactly! I never associated it with being a gamer, but it has been a very long time since I had a real nightmare. Usually they end up with me kicking the ass of whatever scary thing I had conjured up.

Those tips you quote are good for people running in shoes too. You should always be running upright and with a soft step.

When I first started playing, I thought "This is a total Diablo clone!".

Is this going to be another one of those "2007 and 2008" situations, or does Mac get the same version year now? I will be leaving my university at the beginning of July, I wonder if I will manage to get a discount copy before I go...

@tylerf: I don't have hard numbers to back this up, but I have been looking to upgrade my Macbook to 4gb. The price certainly hasn't gone down in a while, and it may very well have jumped up a little bit recently.

Asheron's Call was awesome, and one of the things I remember really loving was just how vast the game world was. I think it just makes sense from the perspective of an MMO though; it gave the devs a lot of room to grow into.

@William Marquardt: Yeah, I run into the same problem all the time. I never need a slide show, but I like to control my music while I am working on images...

I have been meaning to do this recently. Google searches for me turn up generally favorable things, but certainly no cohesive story.

I get the sense that my Dell Mini 9 uses a ton of power sleeping. It also has a fairly small battery. That being said, the value of it is that I can pull it out of my bag and have a functional computer at any time, so I usually let it sleep and just charge it when needed (usually a full charge at least once a day).

@acidrain69: I was thinking the same thing! That little fella could use the help...

I use that one, and it is nice. The one thing I wish I could do is mark items as read from within the popup. Even if I could mark all as read it would be quite the improvement.

I have the same little D-Link 802.11g router I have had for years now. It still works, and only one of my (2) computers has 802.11n.

@Murderdolls: I seem to recall them saying such. I think they are considering it one of the defining features of GW (Which I always thought was funny, the fact that it was free was a bonus, but GW was such a unique and awesome game to me. I would probably be as apt to pay for it as any other MMO).

I have a Dell mini 9 that seems study enough. I have only had it for a year and a half, but I have had absolutely no problems and have abused it in ways that make me cringe.
