None of this pointed to the fact that thy do to this repeatedly. In fact, after this I'd be surprised if they ever ate a McDonalds fry again.

Why not?
That's about as effective as GW2 buffs.
Just do a keep siege in WvW.
Obviously having a good PC helps, but for the recommended spec, during WvW the FPS drops into the single digits, its largely due to being unable to adjust in options the number of particle effects that appear on the screen. If they offered that, it probably wouldn't be so bad.
What you do at 80 is very similar to what you do at any other level really. It's extremely difficult to get to 80 having seen everything there is to see. I had something like 40% map completion and hadn't even seen a lot of maps for the 1-80 climb.
Nah, the game just isn't optimized in every area. Not to mention the lag fest that is WvW, game just doesn't handle that many characters on the screen very well. So not really silly at all.
I didn't have to look it up. http://gawker.com/5945092/fox—friends-falsely-accuses-obama-of-snubbing-israeli-prime-minister-to-meet-with-man-dressed-like-a-pirate
Okay, I'm not sure if you're being serious or not because all of that seems just like something you would peel away from a week of Fox n' Friends (I'm guessing that's where you heard about the pirate thing). So I'm not sure how seriously I should take you, but fuck it, why not.
Not that ignorant, it turns out.
Yes. Any other questions?
I'm sure you could argue for hours, but given your comment I doubt it would prove productive in ANY way whatsoever.
It does look dated, yet still looks far better than those games that came out around the same time with better tech. Just look at EQ2 today.
Must say, it's amazing how well this game has held up. Not in terms of subs, but in how good it looks. Style over tech definitely worked out well for them. Just look at EQ2, looked like shit a year after it was released.
Which really proves the power of addiction. Also the conviction of guild lifers.
I drank two bottles of Robitussin once and I have no idea how he could even put a pencil to paper. I just remember curling up in a ball being afraid I was sinking into myself.
I think the zergfest is kind of the point, with castle sieges and what not. But AV is a battleground and I wouldn't really compare it to WvW, but rather the instanced PvP (which I admittedly haven't fiddled around with much). But from my understanding, those are the battlegrounds of GW2.
I was speaking more of the entire package. Perhaps the largest being the free to play model that hardly feels like one. Also the cross-server economy is a huge plus and almost a game in and of itself and the WvW that, at launch, competes with what other games have only achieved after months of patching or even…
Stop being silly and calm down. That's not even the point, and you're even wrong about it. Americans, Australians, South Africans, and Canadians call it soccer. But even if it were only Americans that did so, ask any European what soccer is and they'll know what you're talking about. Just because they don't call it…
Yeah, they seem to have moved the focus more on the leveling process, which is vastly different than most games which only seem to offer enough content just to get to max level while in GW2 you can level two characters to 80 and still have a zone or two you haven't even seen.
