I’m honestly fine with this level of remaster, especially as the originals are basically so ugly as to be unplayable now. The Quake remaster was also a pretty minimal makeover and was a blast to play, especially after how tedious some modern games like Doom Eternal have become.

You must be talking about Europe, because Americans are less free, less healthy, and in some ways less safe than we were 30 years ago.

Its authoritarianism not socialism that does this. Modern day Russia and China are great examples of capitalist countries that still have these problems.

Close, Beetle Fighting!

Who gives a f*** about living in “the greatest country in the world” (it isn’t. It’s also steeped in socialism, especially for the wealthy) when the way the privileged among us live would end all life on this planet very, very quickly if applied to every living human? What sort of opulent pipe dream are you lost in

I’m really glad for the people who work themselves to death in factories or on farms that they’re living in the happiest, healthiest time in human history. I’m sure the fact that Jeff Bezos owns multiple yachts really makes their burden lighter.

When I said slave wages, I meant any wages that are less than what you need to survive. It was hyperbole.

you can already play the beta version...it’s called Craftopia.  They’ve been using it to test features for Palworld for a while now.

This will either be the game Pokémon fans deserve and Game Freak will never deliver...

To be fair, the Digimon need all that weaponry. Have you seen how easily they die? Misplace your Digimon device for a day and you’ll come back to a corpse. Those guys seemed to be more frail than Tamagochi

pokemon is already a capitalist take on pokemon. the trainer captures a bunch of animals and through exploitation of the animals labor, often to the point of being beaten unconscious, the trainer gains wealth, power, prestige.

I believe it was Maurice Sendak of “Where the Wild Things Are” who said something like “When I first got a book, I would hold it in my hands, smell it, flip the pages to hear the sound, taste the pages, and the very last thing I would do is read it.”

When we were kids sitting in the back of the car on the way home from GameStop, my brother would read the manual, and I would smell the case. Then we would trade. Now that I think about it that explains a lot about me.

You have no power here Valve! It’s literally the first thing I* do with new electronics. Used to do it with instruction manuals as far back as the NES era, but those are long gone, so now I just sniff the cases. Relish snorting up all those delicious fumes from cases, controllers, and consoles. Cause I need to get my

and NO the switch games dont really count as 3d to me.

This show is done in mo-cap. Which is live action. So there’s no 2D or 3D in it.

Well now that doesn’t work because there are both games that utilize 2D sprites in a 3D space (various Paper Mario titles, some JRPGs), and games that use 3D models but play entirely along a 2D plane (Street Fighter VI, the later Megaman X games).  Honestly the terms are near to useless.

some 3d looking pokemon...doesnt matter what it is.  ill watch it.  a 3d looking game would be nice too...just as a hint to nintendo...and NO  the switch games dont really count as 3d to me.  more like 2d with shadows

I don’t know if this will be any good, but it definitely does look cute. As a near-lifelong Psyduck fan, I definitely like what I’m seeing.
