So what’s an extra million or two to some crazy good writers. They’re going to ruin Star Wars. Even more than it’s already been ruined.

I think a typical fantasy show would have better writing here. It’s not like HBO didn’t have the time or budget. They could have made a million decisions to get better writing. They just made a decision to wrap it up, and narratively had no clue how to do it.

So. OEMs will pay for warranty work at your mechanic. The only difference is you might be temporarily out of pocket.

That was predictable, you seem pretty slow on the uptake. I wonder if I put up that number with ulterior motives.

“I know you are, but what am I.”

98% of households make less than we do - and I think this car will probably end up being too expensive for me. It correlates to the root of the problem in general which is - cars are too expensive.

Repeatedly coming after a woman who clearly showed she had no interest and presenting it as a recurring joke? It’s weird that I have to explain it to you.

Sweet. With the CLA35 and now the 45 and 45s - they can justify charging more and more until they cost as much as a base 911 or an M3.

3rd Gear: If I bought new cars I would for sure get me a Grand Sport, count me in as one of the people that really doesn’t care much about the mid-engine Corvette. If I wanted a mid-engined sports car I’d get an Evora S or a Cayman. Boom.

My 3 year old (just turned 3)is learning two languages and consequently isn’t as fluid with language as other 3 year olds, he communicates, but sometimes I feel like his lack of fluid communication makes him frustrated and he turns into a jerk.

This was a head gasket, so slightly different scenario (though I do head gaskets on my cars), but I think the solution here is to stop taking your car to dealerships.

I’m the type of person that looks up the entire plot to a movie before I watch it to decide whether or not I want to watch it. So - this is totally fine.

Yeah, agreed. And the optics weren’t great on that storyline, so maybe that’s why they did it. But it would be pretty tame comparing to some past bullshit they’ve pulled, sexism-wise (and continue to pull).

That’s all fine except they did nothing active, as far as I can tell to really lure the night king into the godswood. And they really had no plan for actually killing the night king.

Also - way to give a wayyy premature heads up. Late August? Nice. I’ll go set my alarm.

Not to mention the total Tormund about-face where he goes from obsession to, “ahhh fuck it” seemed kind of contrived. These dudes are doing a bush-league writing job so far.

Yes - but it’s all EXTREMELY obvious and they’re sort of beating everyone over the head with it right now. So either they’re setting everyone up for pulling the rug out from under them, or they’re terrible writers. At this point I feel like either outcome is equally plausible, or both at the same time.

As I said, individual libertarian policies have had positive impacts. In the same way that individual socialist policies have had positive impacts.

You’re speaking in very broad generalities. You can’t cite data for a slowdown in safety tech since the regulations about the Corvair since they don’t exist. And simply put, no one is arguing that government is ever efficient. Only that in some cases, it’s the most efficient option that drives the most commerce.

And? They took the bailout money and made short term cuts and now they’re ignoring 30% of the market so they can what? Just contract? They’re super fucked. Sounds like they took the chance the taxpayers gave them and did nothing with it.
