Honestly the GTI is just fine. I think if you have 2 kids it gets a little harder. You can fit 2 kids in the GTI but it’s harder with two car seats and a mother in law, for example. The 4Runner laughs at those roadblocks. For us personally the huge dog adds another level of complexity.
