I’m with you on the iPhones. It’s a scam. But I’ve had my mid-tier, low RAM MacBook Air since 2012 and it’s only just now showing its age. My 2016 Dell XPS 13 is a high quality machine with an inexplicably located camera, but it hasn’t been as efficient for me because the operating system still feel clunky. Apple are

I actually love how it looks, and I love that it’s fast, but I’m not sure if I had Urus money that I’d be able to get over the fact that there’s a strong part’s bin component.

7 years. Jesus.

I mean... how many incentives do their need to be to that be a good financial decision?

Anyway, I went on to the Ford website to see what deals they were offering, and it looks like the deal they are offering is financing for eighty....four....months. 8 years.

I can’t get over the price tag. Who buys these things. I am in the top 5% of earners in the US and I’ve NEVER bought a car that cost $40k. What planet do people live on?

My question is... how is this constitutional.. at all?

I like the 4Runner because it’s the lowest maintenance car I’ve ever owned. I wouldn’t go canyon carving, but from commuting to family to hauling, to construction to camping, the thing does goddamn everything.

We lived in Central America in the 90s, and the usual suspects for that time period were the Toyota Hilux, the Nissan Pathfinder, the Montero, and the 4Runner. I don’t have first-hand experience with these, but what I always heard was that they had a crap engine, and weren’t particularly reliable. But who knows. All I

I think everyone knew he was a lecher, a scummy individual, and a bigot, but Bill Clinton kind of popped everyone’s cherry on the justifications for some of those behaviors. What the other commenter here said was true, at least down here in South Florida, I know a number of people that absolutely swore up and down

Yes. A vote in 2016 could be a mistake. Another vote in 2020 is being complicit.

Eh. The shooting wasn’t great. The engineer could have spoken more fluently and eloquently in Spanish and subtitles would have done the trick - he had enough camera charisma to pull it off. They could have had her talking more, they could have shown more of the restoration. They should have looked at the petrolicious

Awesome. And cool story. But Jesus Christ the PR agency or department that put that video together needs to be fired. My kid could have done a better job with his iPad and iMovie.

Whew. So much to unpack here.

lemme know if you find out. The B210 was pretty small, but I bet we’d be surprised at the space inside a MK1 GTI say, vs a MK7

This is an incredibly complex discussion. Are people not buying car B because it sucks? Or is it too expensive? Why is it priced where it is, and does is this pricing justified? How does compensation through each tier of the organization contribute to that cost? It’s incredibly expensive to manufacture cars overseas

Hey, it also looks like a cutting edge design for 2010 so.... bonus!

Honestly the GTI is just fine. I think if you have 2 kids it gets a little harder. You can fit 2 kids in the GTI but it’s harder with two car seats and a mother in law, for example. The 4Runner laughs at those roadblocks. For us personally the huge dog adds another level of complexity.

I have a 3 year old and a 73 lb dog. My wife has a GTI and I have a 911. We did OK with the GTI. Honestly I didn’t see that the crossovers had that much more room than the GTI. They are taller, but the front to back space doesn’t seem substantially bigger in the ones we drove. We drove a bunch of luxury crossovers,

Real question - does anyone actually think the British are going to go through with this terrible idea?

Haven’t really been following this - where was the report that they were destroying opposition ballots?
