As an avid DIYer, when it comes to design, I’d rather let someone else do it. Let me know what I won. Does the quiz say I’m team iPhone?

Well.... GM has the right to make any decisions it wants about streamlining in order to grow their business. I think what people here are reacting to is that the corporate tax cuts were supposed to head off a lot of these decisions and Trump talked a big game about bringing back manufacturing jobs. Everyone with a

I never use Siri or Alexa. I do hear you on the app defaults. Honestly my main worry is that the very thing that makes Android good is the customizability. I’m afraid if I don’t customize it will be fragmented and annoying. I’m honestly just sick of apple.

Serious question - as a long time iPhone user considering Android and hearing mixed reviews - what makes Android so superior? Honestly I wouldn’t consider myself a “power user.” I use my phone to listen to music, listen to podcasts, watch Netflix, get emails, texts, calls, and browsing. People talk about budgeting or

I have, and the jury is kind of out. I think it depends on how I situate the earbuds in my ear, but some people say nothing, and other people do complain. I think I’m going to make my wife wear them in different situations while she talks to me on them and judge for myself. But to be honest, the feedback is no worse

1 - median salaries for households are around 40-50k. A 1000 dollar smartphone for a median sized family is $2,500 give or take. Yes, you can amortize that over the 2-3 years standard ownership, but it’s not insignificant.

I have a lot of love for Warren Buffet, and on the one hand, I agree with his logic; basically he made this decision in the same way he made similar decisions when he initially invested with Gillette, it’s a simple to use product that has a place in our daily lives. He believes the iPhone is a product we center our

Thousand dollar phones unsustainable in a market with stagnant wages? WHO KNEW!?

Thanks for the comprehensive response! Learned new stuff today.

I actually thought the Ridley Scott version of the movie could have been good with better casting. Also - someone explain why Ridley Scott movies always get cut to hell, and the result is terrible, and the director’s cut is always 1000% better, but the next time he makes a movie, they do exactly the same thing.

Anyone with a better legal mind than mine tell me if these decisions ultimately will hold in a Supreme Court that has at least a Trump lean? As I understand it, the SCOTUS only reviews the legal procedure behind lower court decisions. How will this play out?

I bought a set of the Jabras - to me the sound difference between my QC35s and the Elite Active 65t is not night and day, and the Jabras are far more convenient. I just took them on a trip (both) and after about 10 minutes with the Bose I used the Jabras instead on the plan and didn’t really miss the active noise

Is it really any better?

Honestly, aren’t Maseratis also objectively terrible at the price point vs. competition? Isn’t their shtick that they look and sound cool, but when it comes to driving them, they’re only OK?

on my third or fourth. I’m not an unhandy dude. But I’m fairly nonplussed.

Hot take. I hope the V8 and V10 are better because my V6 motor head is garbage. It was a fantastic vacuum for like a year and now doesn’t matter what I do, it’s constently clogged or stuttering. I take it apart. Clean it. Put it back together and it works for a hot minute before turning into a POS again. I loved my

I’ve seen a few of these on the road. they are really sharp looking. Good work.

Actually. There are countries out there that are benefitting from setting up one branch of legislators as a randomly selected representative sample of the population. Governance is different from engineering. You need representative perspectives more than you need experience because legislation is done in aggregate. Cr

But EVs were never going to make it as a mass market proposition! No one was every going to buy these!

Honest question. Gymnasts are usually short, is this natural selection within the sport, or is it that the develop so much muscle at an early age that they actually grow more compactly?
