Fine. But the way you phrased your response is the same way that companies like Amazon are framing the pre-emptive attack. Unions are almost non-existent, and people are already wincing about their negative impacts.

Dumb argument. Most data shows a shortage of unskilled labor. That isn’t the driver for low wages. Labor has little to no negotiation power, especially at the lower wage ranges, and though you may not think it, that erodes wages allllll the way up.

macbook air is always SSD.

Is anyone tracking whether these worse experiences have to do with SSD vs. HDD storage? My guess is load times take more time in situations with HDD. I haven’t installed it yet on my mid 2012 MBA, but I hope it’s an upgrade.

Fight back against what? Is there a union? Is that union overreaching? Why is “living wage” a bad phrase? Even if the 15 dollars an hour they allegedly pay were all in cash, what’s the take home on that, when median rents for one bedroom apartments in the US are near 1000 bucks a month?

So if companies screw workers is the solution to completely abolish companies? Why is abolishing unions the answer to the opposite question? In Germany unions have a seat at the board. They’re able to see the impacts their demands have on the health of the company, and their representatives are part of the discussion.

In a car purchase, there’s an aggregate of car sellers, and car buyers that ensure sellers sell cars at an equilibrium price.

Also. It’s ironic that they put associates last while saying they are the most important. The list order is probably closer to how they actually rank importance.

You’ve already gotten plenty of comments on this, so I’ll try to keep it simple. No one is saying the lender shouldn’t get their money + interest, and that the interest shouldn’t match the risk.

This is a really hard concept to explain to someone and get them to understand though.

I actually thought the opposite. I think Mercedes has been making some ugly cars since they updated the E series, and I don’t like the melty, big-light thing they had going. The last few designs I’ve seen are muuuch better. And I don’t know if you’ve seen the AMG-GT in person, but it’s a really good looking car. Not

Most of my meals cost under 4-5 dollars including proteins. So 20 dollars per meal is actually ridiculously high.

At a certain point though, it has to be recognized that it’s ridiculous to charge someone well over 30k for what was essentially a 9k loan. ESPECIALLY because by the time he defaulted he had been paying for around 18 months give or take, so actually he only really owed between 4-5k. A year later, the court judgement

3rd Gen is a ton lighter too. Jeep is a great truck. Enjoy the process!

....that also sets prices, general hour allowances, stipulates the car you must drive, where and when you can drive it. Etc.

If your wife says JL Jeep why aren’t you also pricing out a fifth gen 4Runner? I love my third gen but that’s also because I have my fun car in my garage and I wanted the cheapest most reliable utilitarian vehicle possible that I can also repair myself. But the fifth gen comes standard with pretty much everything and

Hey Jeeps are sexy. Honestly the post 1999 3rd gen Runners don’t look as good. The bumpers are bloated and their stock suspension was a little lower than the 1997-1999. But here’s my take on it. For a family, any generation of 4Runner is better than a Jeep. The Jeep is better on the really technical trails, but a

I was going to laugh at you about how a 3.0 is probably still pretty slow but I looked it up and nope, they’re actually not embarrassing. So... good on ya mate.

I don’t have a 944 but I have an air cooled 911 and spend a lot of time on the Pelican forum. A quick search says the transaxle is from Audi and 400 should be OK.
