Cabriolet.

Well. There are a lot of reasons for that. And most of them have to do with measuring things in the short term which is an imperfect method of measuring. If they measured things perfectly they would realize that middle class erosion would eventually cut into sales. Problem is that it will hurt small companies before

Dude no one is talking about their stock market price. I’m well aware of GAAP, this isn’t even part of the discussion. We are talking about dinner and you are talking about this cool lecturer you heard last week.

I think you’re missing the point. Amazon pays wage earners jack, and they can’t make ends meet so they get government benefits = a back asswards subsidy.

Here you go. Wages as a proportion of GDP since 1947 - which pretty much blows up your argument. There isn’t any leverage for employees despite GDP growth, and there isn’t a formula to calculate value, only negotiation power, which is achieved two ways, government, or unions:

Another comment here said the same thing. I don’t think you read a thing I wrote. If you invest 50 bucks and the company pays a wage of 2 bucks. And the next year you as an investor take home 100. Then the year after that 200. Then the year after that 250. Do you think it’s still fine to pay the two dollar wage or is

This is a pretty important idea. I don’t think the bill goes anywhere but it’s something a ton of people don’t understand. Companies are being subsidized and laughing all the way to the bank. Republicans respond that the social safety net is the problem and then keep up a narrative that the poor job creators have such

Obviously a PR move for Nike, and I doubt they really think they are taking a serious risk, but still an important PR move. If anything, 2016 taught us that any kind of attention is leads to action.

I imagine it also has to do with always raising the hp number each generation. The current 4.0 revs to what? 9000? That engine has already been bored out, has a new truck valvetrain, forged internals, there’s really not anywhere for them to go except bigger or turbo.

This is incredible. Please let this happen. We need another affordable mid-engined option in the mainstream to keep Porsche honest.

RM European is a fantastic company with incredibly fast shipping and good prices. With all love and respect to Pelican, RM has been my go-to for my Porsche parts for a long time before the acquisition.

Illegal immigration hasn’t been, isn’t, and never will be a problem. Credible data usually shows they boost the economy. If anything it’s better just to give them equal work rights.

After the LC 80 - locking differential options were pretty much gone on the LC as well. I think starting in the 2000 model year they went to that ATRAC system. You can still lock the rear but only with an aftermarket locker.

My dad has an 05 LR3 that has about 150k on it. He bought it on ‘06 with 14k miles. The drivetrain is reliable, but there have been multiple multi-thousand-dollar repairs for things like the trick suspension, stupid shit like the factory head unit, and other “features”. I’d spend the money on the 4Runner, though,

Worse for the Z4. I have no doubt the second gen FType will refine the design and it will look even better. The latest designs from Aston are incredible.

I drove a Z4 before I bought an SLK32 AMG. The Z4 was far superior in feel and just felt like a peppier car at low speed, but the AMG was a monster and I think the original SLK design aged well. That said, neither hold a candle to the Cayman or Boxster in sheer pleasure to drive. Never driven an FType, but a great

Plus the F Type design is already old. So the comparisons will only get worse.

I don’t think there’s any question that it’s a handsome car, but it’s not as good looking as the F Type, and I would put money on the dynamics and driving feel not being as good as the Boxster. I feel like the Boxster is a better sports car and a better GT car. At a slightly higher price-point, but you can’t tell me

I think we all knew deep down that America had reached a stage where a President execute based on the thought processes used in a pre-school playground (“That kid was mean to me”), but I’m not sure I’ve fully accepted it. Trump’s response to this nets him zero personal capital, human capital, or political capital.

Odd thing to fixate on. Hopefully you didn’t miss the forest for the trees.
