Yes, but the whole point is that sometimes you forget to take out the most recent stick when you're done with the last one. I use a butter bell but I definitely still need this trick once in awhile.

... or, you could just use a butter crock aka butter bell.

Because Microsoft consistently make decisions that show they don't understand gamers and gaming, and Valve consistently show that they do. The source of a claim IS important. Valve have earned the right of a little faith from the gaming community.

Remember just before E3 when Microsoft cancelled the round table

I'm pretty sure if anyone besides valve sent out this controller, it'd be laughed out of existence.

"steam controller will be terrible for any game that uses a dpad"

We just need a remake of Gal Fighters. That is all.

You really think it will be used better?

Let's think about this.
A majority of games are multiplatform yes? This means that developers would need to go out of their way to make the Kinect useful/innovative to each game. Now obviously I don't know this but I feel like the Kinect is going to continue to be underused/never

Most popular Wii games had control schemes that barely used the motion aspects of the controls. The same will be true for Xbox games only to a greater degree because even Microsoft can't make a good Kinect game whereas the few good Wii games that used motion controls were done by Nintendo themselves.

I think that your argument is not without merit. Innovation is nice to see for sure. But I think there are two problems in this specific scenario. First and foremost is that we are rapidly approaching the time where Kinect must be judged to be just plain old broken. The first one was broken, but OK that was an

I guess I don't understand why you are so willing to be optimistic about hardware that has had years to prove itself and hasn't yet. Like, not even remotely close to proving itself.

yes. good on them for publishing some where around 45 kinect games.

Yeah but it seens as if they aren't learning much. The within the first 3 months of K1, modders fixed and improved upon a lot of Kinects features. What makes it so hard for MS to get it right with the money they have?

People also said that the "incredible cell architecture" inside the PlayStation 3, the PS Vita as a whole, the OUYA, and even to a lesser extent, the Nokia N-Gage were ripe with potential. We all know that for the most part those things are/were largely underused and/or unappreciated. Potential rarely equals worth in

By itself, the OS is pretty meaningless.

I've funded 14 different projects on Kickstarter, and every single one of them has completed or is in full development. You just need to do a modicum of research and apply some critical thinking before plunking down.

Considering that I work in the same studio as people who are working on Project Eternity, I would say it is quite a successful model for building games. We have a great team making one of if not the most ambitious Kickstarter funded titles out there.

Why?! You see a project, you like it, you endorse it with dollars.

Pfft

The app is still rolling out. Until it comes to your account, it will still reflect the old compatibility list, which was everything except 29 devices. Be patient. It will come.

Side note. If you root your device it may be incompatible. You will have to be creative (*COUGH* *COUGH* Check XDA *COUGH* *COUGH*) For your rooted device's version.
