Could you list these mods? I'm unfamiliar with them

1) All the pc gamers I know also have consoles. It seems to largely just be in console gamer circles and a few online comments where someone is strictly pc only.

You really have no idea what you're talking about.

I couldn't get in to Bakemonogatari. I really want to, considering there are sequels/prequels, but all the flashing-text-that-I-couldn't-read-because-it-was-shown-for-about-a-second just drive me up the wall.

You've played the Ouya version and think it's bad? I thought it was great; was totally hooked.

You've stated that you don't care what anyone thinks about the Ouya. Ok, that's fine. But if that's the case then why are you so dead set on going after PookandPie about this then?

It works for me. I have uses for it even if no more games are developed for it. I don't have any buyer's remorse. If someone else doesn't like the thing, good for them. I'm not here to change anyone's mind about it.

Let's look at your own contradictions..

That's been the biggest criticism people have made of the Ouya on Kotaku, really. Most people here seem to think that its game library is exclusively those games that are in the Play store and so they feel that that is pointless because "all you need is an HDMI cable and a controller".

Ouya-derangement-syndrome.

Awww what a cute attempt at trolling! Maybe I was simply trying to correct a notion that many clueless commenter on Kotaku have about the Ouya and in the process, someone decided to get butthurt about it?

Which is it? Do they share a games library or do they not? You're trying to have it both ways.

I really don't care what you think of the Ouya. The point is: Ouya does not share the same games library as an Android phone. This has been stated repeatedly since day 1.

There are some games that are on Ouya that are also on Android phones, but otherwise? No. There is no evidence for this. It was stated on their Kickstarter page, it's been stated in the press, and it's stated on Ouya's website.

I'm sorry you're all butthurt now :'(

You made a reaching claim "I don't need an Ouya because I've got a phone and a controller", to which I explained that they don't share a game library. Then you followed up by comparing it to a PS3 and a mobile PS3, but naw, you're not saying that you don't think it's the same thing

..and the PS4 won't watch you while you're on the can, so if you want that sort of feature, you should buy something other than a PS4. Maybe I'm missing your humor (sorry if I am), but I'm just trying to explain that they're two separate entities.

IMO, it's fate is still undetermined. I bought it, and of the gripes

You're missing the point: there is no evidence - ever; not on Kotaku, Kickstarter, or Ouya's website - that states that you can play the same games on Ouya as you do on an Android phone. This is something that people conjured up out of thin air.

Same OS, different games. Different games library. So what I'm saying is,

Don't care for it? That's cool.

It's not even that they just don't have experience with it. They don't know much of anything about it. It seems like just about everyone that doesn't own an Ouya thinks it's just for playing Play store games on your TV. No different than a phone, an HDMI cable, and a controller.

Except........ there's never been a

The Ouya does not have the same games library as android phones, so buying it over a Chromecast wouldn't make much sense if you're just looking to play games from your phone on your TV. Ouya has its own library; some of the games are on your phone, some are not.

Wow, really? They play the same games?

Oh wait, they don't.
