The first gameplay video, from many months ago now, showed uncut gameplay from hub to mission and was a longer video than this one. It is baffling that a year later they essentially showed us less. Nothing about Javelin or weapon customization. Nothing about how your personal hub world works. Nothing we haven’t

I was thinking the same thing. The visuals of the Shaper architecture screamed Andromeda to me, and Anthem looks like it ought to be set 200 or so years after Mass Effect: Andromeda when humanity has had more of a chance to establish itself in that galaxy.

I want it. Honestly, the end of Inquisition’s Trespasser DLC seriously hyped me for a sequel. I sort of expect them to drop the ball on it, but I’m still interested.

Yea, they could have taken advantage of all the lore, races and world building they already established in the ME universe.

The worst part is that we know virtually nothing more now about the game than we did a year ago...and the game is supposed to be out in less than a year. The gameplay video was super shallow and cut to ribbons so as not to show us anything. It doesn’t really bode well.

I’m sure that we’ll get a surprise segment at E3 2019 where they show off the brand new Dragon Age: Treasures, which will just be a mobile bejeweled/candycrush style game.

That is what it’s felt like for me since it was first announced - this game is EA trying to milk the last few drops out of the Bioware name, before giving it the Old Yeller treatment.

I was interested in Anthem before, now I have zero interest. That’s the best Bioware could come up with? A Destiny clone? What the hell happened to you Bioware? Oh, right, EA happened...

I am very happy that I don’t have to play the game with other people, but am concerned with whether or not this will be a pretty hollow experience like Destiny solo play is. Like one of the reasons I’m big into Bioware games is that I would rather go on adventures with Garrus or Varric than with internet randos.

I love Inquisition :(

Yah... Like, I’ve never had that many ‘gaming friends’, and I honestly don’t have much of a desire to make any, either? I like playing games alone; that’s why I’ve been a BioWare fan since I was, like, nine.

I’ll give Andrea props for doing her absolute best to bring a shred of fun and excitement to what is sure to be E3 2018‘s most anemic presser.

All anyone wanted to see going into this was two things:
1. Respawn’s Star Wars game, which is still MIA
and
2. Tons of Anthem info and gameplay, which we kind of got, but they

Heh, Bioware assuming I’ve got friends-Hey let me finish! Friends who play the same games as I do and specially at the same time I do.

Everything I know is barely anything, other than they found a way to make a worse co-op trailer than Ubisoft.

Why make a new IP when they could have just used Mass Effect? BioWare has been going downhill for a long time, and I don’t have any more faith in them.

Am I the only one that thought the answer to the question about customization was strangely limited? You can customize your Javalin suits, but he didn’t say anything about the character you play. Is that just assumed?

Call me a pessimist, but this looks like a killer game...as in, it will kill Bioware.

I somehow was even more confused by this game after the presentation than before it and it took me a moment to figure out why. So Bioware’s central pitch that this is a co-op game build around a strong single player narrative experience, but then they utterly refused to actually tell us anything concrete that

This November will be four years since the last Dragon Age release. The fuck’s going on with the new game?
