If someone was a big MGS fan but is burnt out on huge "THERE'S SO MUCH TO DO!" style open-world games would you still suggest Phantom Pain?

I never really found any great strategic voice chat (I had a few matches with a pleasant kid going on and on in what sounded like Urdu) but I too found myself loving the game a lot more than I thought I would. I found myself enjoying the supportive roles the most, Reinhardt, Lucio and Mercy were all my favs, with

Super Time Force is a real treat but don't go into expecting a straight up Contra style game. The time mechanics turn it into the world's most wonky bullet-hell puzzler. It's a blast and a half though with some actual funny dialogue to boot.

This Range, it's so Dynamic! But seriously, I'm excited as all get out to be able to have quicker access to Spotify while flying around in Just Cause 3 finally.

I generally pick up each Civ at the first expansion as it's usually cheaper by then and I don't do multi-player so I don't have to worry about that. I do know that cities can finally expand and take up multiple tiles and they're making a more concerted effort to make Happiness matter again.

If 1,000 years of inbreeding is what it takes to make my head float above my shoulders without a neck than lookout cousins here I come!

Playing as male-shep instead of the vastly superior Fem-shep!?! Wassa-madda-witchu??

I heard they even found a way to transport Dishonored's Blink move into the Deus Ex universe because nano-machines or something.

Akira Toriyama's design work for video games is so good. It seems to hew closer to his early Dragonball work than the later Dragonball Z Alpha Kai Donut Xtreme stuff.

Hop aboard the Animal Crossing hype-train and hang out with weird talking squirrels with audible twitches.

A week or two ago, I told Flim Flam that there was no way I was dipping into the Mii Plaza games and then I ended up staying at a hotel over labor day weekend and my plaza was blowing up on the regs. So I was slot car racing, puzzle swapping and dungeon diving like any other Mii addict.

For me, being a Free-to-Play Plebe is always what hurt. I had maybe one Legendary that wasn't from an adventure and so I was routinely mopped up by Dr. Booms and Whoever that lady is whose inspire is to summon a random legendary.

Stop trying to get me to relapse into Hearthstone guys! Anyway, this weekend I might try and download the free Overwatch weekend trial as I enjoyed my free time with Battlefield 1.

Gotta love Nintendo for announcing the game and then immediately launching it. This was my first Nintendo Direct where I actually owned a Nintendo Console and it was a lot of fun.

I often feel guilty when bringing in co-op buddies for boss fights because it makes me feel a little like I'm cheating but I didn't feel guilty on Abyss Watchers because they kept bringing in backup so it only seemed fair.

I've always thought that the Bungie-era Halo campaigns are held in high regard. I've gone back and played Reach more than a few times.

I'm working hard not to get pulled into the Streetpass side of my 2DS. I had a friend who got pulled into that world when he first got his 3DS. We'd be at a bar and he'd look up, dejected and say "This bar is packed, how am I not getting any streetpasses?"

The most popular Paradox Game in my book is Crusader Kings II. It is just as dense as all there games but with the added human twist of dynasty building, it's really fun. I'm still not very good and haven't been able to help my poor Irish nobleman rise to any rank of matter, but marrying off insolent sons and

This is the most unstoppable tanks have been in any Battlefield I've ever played. On one hand it's kind of fun because it really does add a real sense of terror to seeing them get spotted nearby and it's pretty fun to haul ass to an anti-tank turret and hope you can spin it fast enough to get a round off.

You're the first person I've heard who was underwhelmed with Inside. It looks like a heavier Limbo to me and I frickin' loved Limbo. It's still only $15 so I'll end up deciding for myself probs.
