The IMAX portions of Christopher Nolan’s movies actually do look noticeably cooler and more immersive on my non-IMAX sized tv.

Yeah, I seem to remember an old interview where Whedon confirms that’s exactly what he did. He claims he wanted to use the defeated Confederate trope “but without all the slavery.” I think the bounty hunter in one of the later episodes was even named after a Confederate general. 

I’m sure he’ll have plenty of well-wishers, and a lot of them would like to throw him down one.

I was just watching a Youtube video of the top song of every month in the 80's. And of course this comes on the month I was born.

It seems like they made a big miscalculation by introducing the CRM and sending Rick off in that helicopter. After 3 years and one boring season of the World Beyond, the lingering mystery has gotten old, and I can’t imagine them actually finishing that whole Rick Grimes trilogy. Plus, having Rick off fighting another…

I wouldn’t say iconic, but I did recently use a gif of this scene to describe my frustration with the current housing market.

I saw End of Watch for the first time last year, and it’s well directed and has an amazing cast, but it’s full of racial caricatures and mostly feels like someone tried to make an entire movie based off of that thin blue line flag.

The four minutes of new footage is stuff shot specifically for HBO Max. Everything else was shot in 2016 and either cut or reshot by Whedon.

Yeah, it’s pretty common. Gal Gadot thought she was auditioning for Catwoman, and Anne Hathaway thought she was auditioning for Harley Quinn.

Man, when your take on an iconic DC character is deemed to ridiculous and over the top for Zack Snyder...
