Having gone from a Stg 1 Mk 6 GTI to a mk7 R, trust me, you use AWD anytime the boost comes on.

Enough already.  This is clickbait garbage marketed as clickbait content-contribution passed off as content when really it’s an outbrain or hotbox or whatever the f*ck it is listicle.  STOP.

Get out of here with your “facts” and “reasons” from a so-called “engineer”.

Mk7 Golf R - yes, it’s a hatch and not a wagon, but it’s pretty roomy inside.

This is why, if you’re going to drive a high-mileage old car, you either need a *trusted* mechanic, or be able to DIY.

Sorry to hear. Given that I inexplicably do not watch youtube videos, was there any indication of what led the tensioner to break?

Where’s the downvote button?  This article is stupid.

Well said. I was quite interested to see the byline.  Thought maybe a sister site snuck an article in...

Yep, a+ recommendation. Aftermarket will supply it!

Yep, weight is the enemy.

You’re totally wrong. That’s S30 all the way. Me Gusta.  But you’re right, needs a blade bumper and some corner markers.
