Yep. I’ve got a 72 restomod and I just love letting it rip from 4-7K. Especially in tunnels or next to soundwalls.

Rear-only is not uncommon (or un-useful) on pickups. Keeps the rear brakes from locking up when empty.

I have the M2W switch (installed by PO) and after trying it a time or two, was glad the battery died in the quiet position.

I think we’re on the same page.... just trying to reassure you that incremental upgrades are really pretty straightforward. Plus, KB+M>controller for most AAA stuff.
I managed to bend about a quarter of the pins last time I did this. I had to call my dad to help me fix it. I’m 46.
As others have said, you don’t really *have* to swap things every few years. My PC is from 2013 (!) and only upgrades have been GPU (twice), SSD, and second HDD. All are easy plug-and-play.
Reverse: Should we really have to work to see a picture of the vehicle in question? Is there a no-picture, no-link rule in place?
That’s a good price on a rare car if it hasn’t been rusted/bondo’d to death.

When I go places without runoff, I dial it way back. Silly me, overconfident on a well-known track with lots of runoff, wound up spinning 3x in one day. Not good.
