Have done it all. Engine/trans rebuilds, suspension overhauls, megasquirt, turbo addition, most recently drivetrain swap (including electronics) from a 1990 Mustang into a 1959 Volvo.

Had a track-day NA Miata - some suspension goodies, otherwise stock. Drove the ever loving shit out of it every day. Drifted more turns than not. Got 25mpg and rarely exceeded a speed limit. Brake pads and tires lasted forever.
