Too true. Instead of an editorial bemoaning price, howabout a comprehensive features writeup?

I liked all the villains in the series so far. Especially Zarkon’s lieutenants, each attempting to prove their worth to Zarkon / the empire by going after the Paladins, their lions, or innocent allies. Their threat levels were consistently higher than the original series (yet still defeat-able, obvs).

Zarkon’s been

Yes.

“He’s a black SuperHero! (... who will most likely spend most of his time imitating the white folks of MU ... since he lacks a physical body...)”

Since you dont want to have the same actress play 2 parts

That’s actually New52 SuperGirl. Boob-window-less New52 Power Girl is to the right.

As a CBS show, I certainly agree w/ “sex is evil” producers. As a CW show, I’m hoping for a little more exploration of gender politics.

Eh, I like PG’s costume enough, but am not stoked on SG’s crotch cape or whatever that is.

Even if CW were to write / design Power Girl as a total 14yr-old boy’s fantasy of a woman superhero, that contrast alone could mine comedy / pathos from Melissa Benoist’s SuperGirl reactions and whatever actress would play PG.

Eh, 13 acting credits so far. Hopefully that means Graff’s training her acting craft as intensely as her stunt craft.

Yeah, as I clarified, I’m not as interested in Melissa Beoist’s beauty as I am a physical difference between characters that would still callback to Power Girl as completely recognizable yet visually distinguishable from SuperGirl.

I understand that SuperGirl is essentially a kid’s show (at least the CBS version). At

Jessie Graff is literally Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl suntwoman already. So if she can act / has some humor chops, it’d be a perfect fit.

Less gutter, more white costume / shorter hair / more boisterous personality & jokes (jokes this image fails to illustrate).

Eh, I’m not citing boob window, I just mean white costume / boisterous personality. Power Girl coule be hilarious (as this image fails to illustrate).

Since it’s not listed in the casting call, let’s all still assume Melissa Benoist will be undergoing some ... cosmetic costuming and makeup ... to reveal Power Girl.

Not to mention the thousands of family members & friends of Monument Point victims who’d want a fucking explanation.

... Carrot Top as Alexander Luthor, maybe ... ?
