Fucking sweet. Stoked on Black Panther.

Sort-of Related - since they introduced the prosthetics on YellowJacket’s armor in Ant-Man, will Parker’s first official (as in, not the home-made one) uniform be Iron Spider (and will he be recruited by Stark before going to Rogers)?

Wouldn’t those cross-blades amputate your own hand with pretty much any sword-fighting wrist movements?

I’d prefer it if her were a Coruscant techie fanboy cosplaying after he bioengineers a midi-chlorian injection.

Ah, I thought that was Speed-Force Flames.

If there’s no steel girder, what’s got her in enough danger to call out for the Flash(es)?

My statement clearly doesn’t call out Jonathan Reese’s opinion; it calls out his implying that a woman’s (and man’s) opinion on an issue of sexism is invalid.

We must not be reading the same comment threads. Or better yet - most likely the comments are equal in number / passion, but you’ve got one perception of reality, as do I, and we each see what we want to see.

To be fair, not everyone does. But considering the overwhelming comment presence of Men’s Rights Activists / 2nd Amendment Advocates / GOP Trollers / Libertarians / GamerGate Rape Threaterners choking these threads, I certainly see how you’d perceive it to be so.

To be clear: you are a man, correct? A man who’s telling not only other men, but women who visit io9 as well, how to feel about this video, including down to stifling their frustrations about sexualization of women superheroes? And being quite a dick about it?

For us daily commuters, it happens 4 months out of the year. Even here in Sunny California, it’s dark by 5pm for quite a bit. Riding w/ lights is great, and recommended. A brake actuated light is still a good idea, and would totally be distinguishable from the regular bike taillight (blinking or steady on).

To be fair, if you had to shoot a collateral damage superhero fight in Any modern 1st World town / city, you’d have to point the camera at either the ground or the sky to avoid all the brand signs and advertising.

If it helps, a 20,000lb ostritch w/ a pneumatic backhoe for a head and a mouthfull of banana-sized teeth teeming w/ flesh-eating bacteria would be goddamned horrifying.

Totally loved this episode. 2.5 seasons of backstory add so much emotional weight to Jack’s recruitment call (and Will’s fear of going back) / Will & Hannibal’s first meeting in 3yrs.

I’d agree, if “we” were still Kal-El / Bruce Wayne / Diana of Themyscira.

I was especially surprised w/ Kurt Langstrom / Man Bat as vampire Batman, and appreciated his mumbly take on the character. Esp because he’s a brilliant scientist / decent brawler, but not much of a detective.

Never heard of Bekka, and was

CLU2 was also designed for the film to be not only agelessly young like young Jeff Bridges, but to capture that uncanny valley feel. It’s part of the reason he feels “off” compared to humans. Alien.

I live in the Bay Area and have yet to see this astroturf bullshit.
