Coulda been worse.
Coulda been worse.
I think the Nolan fights could have looked better had there also been more wide shots and fewer cuts. Also, less handlheld.
Fixed it.
Flailing ... as in fighting, a series of movements in which one would Need the ability to turn one's head (esp multiple opponents in shadowy close quarters)?
What could possibly go wrong? (jk, hope the writing's strong enough to make for compelling stories)
I'd much prefer a character exploration of Black Adam, esp. since Rock's expressed interest in playing him before. Get any granite-chinned goofy midwestern bodybuilder to play Billy Batson's lightning bolt man-child alter ego. I'll take the Rock to explore BA's pain.
It is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the list for you (and me tbh), but it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up the list for a good number of people who voiced their displeasure on the internet.
So... heresay.
No, just the content of the scene itself. In reference to Jason Scott Lee's casting, I thought it had to do w/ the plethora of qualified actors/martial artists working in HK cinema at the time not being given the chance to even try out for the part after Brandon's death.
I don't make the connection to which you're alluding. Please elaborate.
Not defending. Just reminding. fyi - Montalban's Mexican, not Spaniard. Also, say for instance the studio cast a Punjabi or Hindi as Khan the Sikh (vs. just an Indian) it would have been just as offensive to the respective ethnicities. (all these points were covered in my original comment - although your comment…
Let's ask Bruce Lee (portrayed by a Chinese-Hawaiian).
Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan
The Thing.
Post-Credits Matrix I, Neo wakes everyone up.
Enough to fill your fedora?
Great observation. Hoods are choice for rain protection, but horrible for hearing anyone sneaking up on you (esp w/ amplifying the sound of raindrops).
At least you can shoot first w/ element of surprise in bow/arrow vs. guns. Hoods have zero peripheral vision, and if ever grabbed in a fight... well, your body will follow wherever your head gets yanked (if the opponent doesn't just hang onto the hood hockey-style and pound Arrow's temples in). Admittedly looks…
"So... You want to bea able to turn your head?"
A hood is a horrible idea for a person engaging in hand to hand combat.
