I had this one. The image of beaten up Captain America crashing through the concrete park bench is amazing. Artwork in this is 1000x top notch, and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants / Rogue story is just sick. A real threat for the Avengers. Pyro's giant flame bird! WTF, when I was 8 years old!!!

For its time, Barry Windsor Smith's Weapon X was pretty groundbreaking, at least in comparison to other popular comics. I kinda liked Logan before WX, esp after Frank Miller's run, but totally fell for the brutality of his origin. BWS artwork, which I always viewed as primal, is perfectly suited for this story arc.

Russian future soldier is just regular Spetsnaz with a stolen, jailbreaked iPhone.

That's kinda the problem w/ time travel deus ex machinas. Noone ever really dies (as if Any XMan ever does), and there are no lasting consequences. Still, psyched to see this.

Isn't M Fox like 5'4"? She's the only size comparison to the TMNT in the trailer. It'll make more sense when they're kicking the living shit out of 50 foot soldiers at a time. I don't have a problem with this. I think even w/ the Hummer collision, the movie's just illustrating that these are big, heavy, solid…

Dude's a fuckin' champ. Good on him for keeping presence of mind / strength to execute a floor to floor move like that and assist in his own rescue. I can only hope I'd be as calm, solid-thinking, and agile in a similar situation.
