Yep, that's a terrible lawsuit waiting to happen. Assuming you're British, love Mars Bars, but are allergic to nuts.

I dispute 'Who's the boss?' being particularly big in the UK, likewise the Upper Hand, which I'd never heard of until now…. I'm a fairly big couch potato, so if I'm wrong, I'm very surprised they haven't come onto my radar.

The Guardian has a special website designed for US sports. So if you log on to the Guardian site in the US, the sports section is focused on MLS, baseball etc…, although back over here it's normal UK sports. And apparently it's British journalists writing about the US stuff, so they don't really know what they're

Don't a lot of US bands nowadays view the UK as something of a launchpad for greater recognition back home? Kings of Leon, the Strokes, the Killers etc… Pretty sure they all hit the mainstream over here first and then built upon that back at home.

Never heard of him. Will look him up. Am reading Patrick O'Brian's Treason's Harbour right now. Pretty hard to top him and McDonald Fraser.

Rereading Flashman made me realise that a lot of it went over my head first time around. I definitely enjoyed them though and they also got me interested in the period. The Sharpe books were more straightforward, and I would say on a par with Wilbur Smith. My English teacher didn't approve when I did my summer book

I don't think official YA books really exist over here in the UK, or at least I wasn't aware of them when I was in the demographic (which is what, between 12 and 15?).
