Will Smith to play Assange.

Five hours a day is pretty good going. I guess if I had a long commute I could fit in more books, but when I want to relax, TV is just such an easy option. Sad, I know. Reading is usually for when I go to bed.

I'd say Flashman and the Redskins and Flashman and the Great Game were my favourites. I actually found Redskins really moving as well.

Hear Hear… As per my earlier post, I reread Flashman several years ago. First time I read it I was about twelve and I never fully appreciated quite how nasty he was in the first book. I only really picked up on it when rereading it (raping his step Mother etc). I think Flashy got a bit softer around the edges in the

@Lemur, how many hours a day do you spend reading? There are nearly 20 books in the Aubrey-Maturin series. If you're telling the truth, I don't know how you find the time to do anything else.

The Hungry Caterpillar. I read it about four times last night because the little shit wouldn't go to sleep.

The thing I really admire about Maria Bello's acting
is that she's always prepared to show us her Lala.

As in every walk of life, there is just no accounting for cunts or idiots. Some people like to screw other people over, even at the most petty, nerdy levels, such as comment boards about TV shows.

For me the problem comes when everyone - critics, friends, comment boards etc - keeps going on about the twist at the end of something, even though they don't actually reveal what it is. Forearmed with this knowledge, you can't help look for it.

Asterix & Obelix
They could also bring along Vitalstatistix, Fulliautomatix and of course Getafix and his magic potion. Having said that, Unhygienix and Cacafonix can stay at home, because they respectively stink of fish and make a hellish racket.

Michael Sheen for Burton. They're both from the same part of Wales for starters. Same town even.

Must..not..make..a..nun-based..pun….

Vindaloo is the hottest of the Curies.

Having listened to and read interviews with David Mitchell, I don't think he takes himself that seriously. When discussing Cloud Atlas, he happily admitted that he had imitated the dialogue of Riddley Walker by Russell Hoban for his post-apocalyptic Hawaii section. He had done similar things for Adam Ewing etc…

I was going to say comics in general, or graphic novels, or whatever the more adult rebranding is called. I'll flick through comics like the Watchmen in a bookshop. Some of the pictures are great, and I'm sure some of the stories are fun too, so I can see why people get into them, but ultimately i'd prefer to

If I remember correctly, the wife was in on it too. *spoiler* So they both conspired to make Bridges their patsy etc. Either way, I thought it was a great film at the time.

Terrorists conspire don't they?

Arlington Road
As conspiracies go, that one played out brilliantly. Pretty shocking/great ending too.

Radiator by Super Furry Animals. Not just for the year. One of my all time favourites.

That's 14 years ago
Fuck.
