I want the coupe but it's about 8 grand out of my price range... Well, more like the range I'm willing to pay. I could afford it, but naw.

I'm in SoCal. The only 2 cars guaranteed in every parking lot are a WRX and a Tahoe/Suburban.

It was probably the best performing FWD car at the time for racing. How was it shit? Unlike most super cars, they'd get you to and from the track without a fire.

My aunt bought the non-SS coupe new and despite recalls, hasn't had so much as a broken handle in the many years she's owned it. Not a luxury car but certainly an ok car without issues.

Thank Odin I'm a dude and had friends and fun in college without paying for them.

Outrage! All these hideous European cars and yet Dick Teague, designer of the beautiful Gremlin, languishes in Jalopnik obscurity.

Dial H was great, but weird. I think there are 16 total issues.

Acura is still around? I honestly wonder how their sales are in SoCal, because I see 45 Escalades for every used RSX here. I can't tell you the last time I saw a new Acura in my city of 100,000+ well-off Californians.

I'd also like to mention Richard A. Teague, the man who did the most with the least. You might not know him, but you should. He worked at GM, Chrysler, and Packard, but did his best work at AMC. The Rambler, Ambassador, the Pacer (which inspired the 928), the Cherokee XJ, the beautiful Matador, the Javelin, the

Harley Earl. The Buick Y-Job (first concept car), the Corvette, the hardtop sedan, the beautiful LaSalle, tail fins, WW2 camouflage work, the creation of the modern design studio from the GM Art and Color Section, clay modeling, two-tone paint, wraparound windshields, the Cadillac V16, the Impala, the Firebird

Mustang and Camaro don't count? Former Solstice / Sky?

If this thing gets someone to buy a car that at least could be in the same dictionary as 'design' or 'fun' instead of a bulbous CUV monstrosity, then I support Buick. Godspeed, Buick.

I agree it's good looking but the price is the killer. It isn't a pony car and it isn't a luxury car and it isn't a muscle car.. But it's priced above a Mustang and not worth more money than a Mustang.

Great looking car. Stupid name. Lincoln is making the best looking soccer mom mobile out there, apparently. Though I'd never drive this unless someone gave it to me for free. Now, if they come out with a true RWD luxury coupe with a real Lincoln name, like the Mark Somethingorother, then call me.

Muscle / Pony car should immediately be decently Jalopnik.

My Camaro also got that law. Just upgrade to an El Camino/Ranchero? That's like 80% Jalopnik.

Yeah, but the Camaro and Silverado are also great RWD vehicles and not particularly boring. And the new Impala is apparently world class amongst boring sedans. So, I humbly disagree. Oh! And the SS.

I would never be the target market for a VW but I have to say one thing that I think greatly hinders them: their new styling looks dated. I know they upgrade, but the newest VW looks about 10 years old. And not in a 'classic style' way but more in a 'lazy stylists' way. They also seem to grip into blocky (Golf) or

How is THAT possible? In SoCal I see more new Escalades a day than I've seen Acuras all year (not counting the one RSX at work).

Wait, what does Toyota have to do with royal decent and how many women between 50 and 70 will buy these with their life partners?* Because I can't think of the last time I saw a man or someone under 50 driving a Scion not called FR-S isn't this the youth brand?
