I own a 228i. Would never have bought it if it were FWD... Same with a good chunk of owners.

It means my current 228i will be my one and only new BMW. Ever. The next car will be American, like my last car. Mustang or Camaro.

There are a ton of women who didn’t want to date me when I was an awkward, weird kid. I worked out, got a good job, and now I’m an awkward, weird adult who only a handful of people are interested in dating. Seriously though, fuck these guys. Everyone has problems. Everyone breaks up or gets abused or whatever, but the

I think it’s a glitch. I ordered a 2016 228i that should be getting to me by Friday... When I ordered, you could definitely get a manual on the 228i. It was an option at least for the first few builds, so it’d be weird to cancel it.

I had to order ,y new BMW 228i to get an honest-to-goodness cheerful color and a stripped car with no options other then a sunroof. Most on the lots were black or white with $12,900 in options. I'm sure someday I'll kick myself for not getting the stock ticker, parking spot finder, or 100-way power memory seats...

My experience: I ordered a new BMW 228i. It will be here next week. I am trading in my Camaro + cash, then financing the remainder. I could probably afford a $600/mo. car loan but that would be idiotic. I'm getting an almost no option car and hoping for about $300/mo. payments. See, being reasonable lets you actually

To be fair, I am in the process of buying a BMW (order 228i) and I’ve had a pretty craptacular dealership experience thus far, so it’s not just bottom basement cars... It’s everyone. The dealership itself was fine, but the salesman has been utterly useless.

I have some bottom basement Hyundai Elantra (?) rental right now. That thing is, without compare, the worst car I have ever driven in my life. The seats are painfully uncomfortable, like they stuck seats from 1950’s school desks into a plastic box. It hurt to drive from the airport to the casino I am out. There is 0

Not wearing a helmet. A bunch of my family members ride, and I don't think any wear a helmet. That's insane. I like my brains inside my head.

I am going from my Camaro to a 228i. Everyone is amazed my new BMW cost about the same as their new car. “Wow. I thought you’d be paying way more than my loaded crapmobile!”

I just got a 228i. Used was $1 - $3 less than new, because I ordered with only 2 options (paint, sunroof). Some cars it's harder to do this because luxury cars are packed to the gills with options.

It's not millennials. It's everyone. I had to explain how I needed to discuss total cost, not payments, when I shopped.

I just bought (well, will buy when my order arrives) a BMW 228i. Every car I looked at was immediately followed by the assumption I’d be leasing, not buying. I guess because I’m a milennial looking at $30k - $35k sports cars, I might not be able to afford new? Either way, I am shocked at how little people understand

Some of us care enough about our cars to not getting secret sauce all over the seats.

I JUST ordered the 2016 228i over the Mustang recently, despite loving them both and being hardcore American muscle my whole life. Don’t make me regret it!

I wish they had menus more like a smart phone. Way easier.

I'm 32 and the BMW system made perfect sense when I ordered my 228i. Maybe it's because I've been using these things for 32 years straight? I've noticed older folks or tech unsavy folks been really confused by infotainment centers.

5th Gear: I almost bout a new Mustang but ended up with a 228i. The new Mustang is a fantastic car and the turbo 4 is an amazing engine. My biggest issue was no sunroof on the coupe and the 4 cylinder convertible cost more than the 228i. Plus, I would've had to order either car with the options I wanted. I think a lot

I'm in the market for a new car AND a house... In California. My car will be $30k or so. My house will be $200k or so. It helps to have no other debt and savings.

I’ve been new car shopping. The two things that always make me laugh:
