So will the kids now be toddlers?
So will the kids now be toddlers?
The premise isn’t anything new, but I kind of like that trailer. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’m really glad Things to Come (1936) made it on here.
I’m in my late 20s and only saw this movie a few years ago for the first time. I was pretty creeped out.
I’m pretty damn excited for this. Clone Wars was a fantastic series.
Not excited enough to pay for another streaming service mind you, but there are ways around that. *twirls mustache*
How is it anonymous if we know he’s in the quarterfinals?
I assume their first date involved them going to get ice cream, with Aubrey Plaza silently staring at him while seductively licking her cold treat the entire time, and Michael Cera getting increasingly sweaty while rambling on about nothing in particular, until he finally gets so flustered that he dropped his entire…
I never thought this scene was “weird.”
I always assumed Joker just slide the knife down and cut his throat instead. Presumably, that’s what the editor was trying to convey.
There was no stand-in. Simmons cloned himself because he’s that committed.
Sym-Bionic Titan movie confirmed!
I’m a younger Star Trek fan and didn’t really watch any of the original films growing up. I have a general awareness of what happens in those movies, but I don’t feel any desire/need to watch any of them.
I just want some sentient space guns on my screen damn it!
I would perform demonic rituals and summon Satan himself if it meant getting some Revelation Space on my TV. That’s my favorite sci-fi world. Alas, The Expanse will have to do.
You can see the shadow of a light pole near him, so I’m assuming his other arm was wrapped around that to brace himself.
Murder House and Coven happen to be the only seasons I’ve watched, so this works just fine for me.
I’ve never heard of Somnium or Lucian, so I looked them up right now. Very interesting, and I look forward to reading them in the future. However, my point still stands. Whatever earlier works that we would now consider “science fiction” are anomalous for their time, and are no longer widely read.
For better or worse,…
What do you mean you don’t buy it? Frankenstein is well regarded as the first example of science fiction writing. Ask any sci-fi author and they will tell you that.
I think it could go either way. I just checked the ages, and Guinness was 63 when filming ANH. McGregor is 47 right now, so there’s a 16 year gap. That’s a healthy difference, but it wouldn’t take a ton of old age make-up/effects to make McGregor realistically look the part.
It would certainly be more believable then…
I might be reading too much into it, but I think there’s also an implication that they’re having a much longer duel in their minds. The way they both shift their stances at various moments, the eye movements, etc. These are two masters that pretty much know the outcome before it even begins, but Maul goes for it…
Well this is highly disappointing.
The 2011 series got really damn good by the end. I’m still mad that it ended up a one season wonder.
