Can you point me towards some reading on the conflict between EA and Suda? Shadows of the Damned is genuinely one of my favorite games of all time so I’d love to know more about what Suda’s original vision was.

Looks rad. Added to my list. Thanks M.L.!

Cobra Kai is incredible and William Zabka should be nominated over yet another William H Macy or Kenan nom.

Have you considered getting a lot drunk and high and legally watching a better movie?

Supernatural lore is very messy in the later seasons. There’s flashbacks and time travel shenanigans that have the boys hunting with their parents and even grandparents on multiple occasions.

Huh? He’s not big. He gets a lot of press because of his dating history but like, he’s literally only got two movies under his belt as a lead. Everything else is small bit parts.

I respect you don’t want to use Latinx. That’s fine. Ain’t no one forcing you. But I hate constantly seeing this bullshit about it being some invention of woke ass white people and how no Latinos use it blah blah blah. And newsflash, Spanish is an imperial language too.

Sounds right up my alley. Thanks for the review Caitlin!

Or maybe people can enjoy things while also being critical of them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hi. I watch anime. Am I a hebephile? Please let me know your diagnosis of my sexual preferences so I can go get that checked out. Thanks!

I genuinely think this is going to get cancelled after 1 season. I’d be happy to be proven wrong, but after the final season of GoT I just don’t think the public is interested

The bus scene just made me think about how fun a Speed remake with Simu Liu and Awkwafina would be lol.

It’s okay. I came here to make the same comment. We can be old togeth-*drops dead*

So Warner execs went from being concerned about having an angry black man at the center of the Justice League film to demanding said angry black man say “booyah!” because reasons.

I think when you’re dealing with absurd comedy/parody, stuff like Chad, White Chicks, Mrs Doubtfire etc. is fine. The strength of the comedic writing can also be a factor. I think when you’re dealing with more serious themes in a drama, cross-casting can get a little more dicey. It’s still doable and there’s a long

Faison is cool and all but Malcolm Barrett was right there! Dude’s already played two great bumbling scientists on Better off Ted and Timeless.

Isn’t “but, I have black friends” one of the lamest excuses that some racists use to try to prove they’re not racists? The lack of self-awareness, or worse the unwillingness for self-reflection, helps enable institutional racism.

I’m 100% serious. It feels like Marvel is trying to have their cake and eat it too. I’m really hoping we get more from Olivia and Hoskins and their relationship with Walker. Is he really worthy of the mantle of Cap? Do they know Steve entrusted the shield to Sam? Do they know Sam donated the shield to the Smithsonian

I loved everything about this episode except the opening scene. The decision to flank John Walker with a black partner and a black best friend in order to give him a pep talk was deeply weird to me, especially given the themes of this show. If they’re going to commit to examining the institutional racism of the US
