I’ve seen a lot of folks express disapproval of laypeople offering their diagnosis of Trump, but I believe it’s a necessary thing to do, to point out the degree of wrongness we detect in the man reaches levels your typical, wildly unpleasant candidate simply doesn’t come close to. It is essential to be respectful, of

But at least 10 other highly respected, intelligent people who have spent a significant amount of time with Trump have stated that he seems to be a psychopath (and also to suffer from extreme narcissism, severe attention deficit, and some other things).

I called a couple of sisters that know that are in the space that talk about the feminist movement and toxic masculinity, and just asked questions. What did I do wrong?

Yeah, it’s like Polanski films. I am sure, as a film, the Pianist was well deserving of an Oscar, but I’m never going to find out, because all I could think about while I watched it is how the man who made it raped a young girl, got away with it, and doesn’t give a shit.

Also he’s pretty much admitting to the rape here:

Not even getting a girl to say yes! He’s basically saying as long as she wasn’t actively resisting he’d go for it. Which, it turns out, IS STILL RAPE.

Getting a girl to say yes................................

I don’t have a crystal ball either, but I think these Trumpers will be around for a while in various forms and will have a lot of influence in conservative politics. They’ve smelled some success. They’re not going to ride off into the sunset in their camouflage-painted 1995 F-150's if they lose this election.

We’ve let the South pretend like they didn’t start the Civil War, and look how well that’s turned out.

Yeah, I just wish they’d dial it down on buying into the myth of Reagan so much. It just makes them seem cynical and vulnerable to what we saw from Sanders this year.

But the drawback is that this is normalizing/excusing the “moderate” GOP’s brand of racism. The smart thing to do would be to paint the entire party as the party of Trump—you made this, this is who you are, this is who you’ve always been—and wield it as a cudgel going forward.

It’s absolutely harassment. I took my younger brother’s ex girlfriend to get her first exam and get on birth control and I went because she has a drunkard mom and nonexistant dad so I was basically the closest mother figure she had. We went to PP and there were TONS of protesters and she started bawling. It was her

Now this is a plan I can get behind! If for some insane reason the Bubble Zones are nullified, I would gladly volunteer all of my free time (spoiler alert: I have an alarming amount of free time) to work as a Pro-Abortion counter protestor in one of those little numbers (second spoiler alert: I have an alarming amount

That they try and use the law to coerce and deny women their right to choose their own medical care is beyond reprehensible.

I think they excuse their behaviour because 1. they don’t consider it healthcare, and 2. the people they’re harassing are women. Imagine if it was men who mostly sought care at abortion clinics.

The fact that the clients being harassed are always women is a good point. It’s inherently sexist. I can’t even imagine walking through these people to get healthcare, it’s clearly to terrify women and young girls and scare them into not going in.

I’m so sorry for your experience. Hope you’re doing okay.

Absolutely harassment of women. It’s digusting that these people are crying about their rights while they attempt to bully\coerce women trying to exercise their right to a legal medical procedure.

That is unacceptable. And it’s recognized as unacceptable in any other scenario - if someone is yelling at you or physically obstructing you in public, the police would intervene. People suck.

Exactly. How about you leave me the fuck alone? How about people that go to PP should not have to put up with harassment just to get some medical care. Seriously. I went to PP after being raped because I was young, scared and had no money and didn’t have insurance. But these people have zero empathy for anyone and
