tesla batteries are 24 thousand dollars bro. there is no 7,000 battery unless it is out of a wrecked car maybe.

25 year old Mercedes ML320 lol.

And conveniently there is an 8 year warranty on the Tesla battery

Will it though? I mean if he isnt driving a Tesla The replacement on a battery is about 5-7K In ten years. subtract yearly gas for him with electricity (4200-720) you are looking at 3480 a year. by year two his savings paid for the battery. By year 5 his savings paid for a tesla battery. By year 8 when the battery

Exactly. To say the cause is some kind of mystery is total bullshit.

All modern vehicles have knock sensors and will adjust timing if lower octane gas is used. I wouldn’t use it in a 911 or McLaren, but a normal BMW or Benz that requires premium runs just fine on regular. Mazda just does this because they don’t want their budget-minded market to be driven off by the premium-only

There is a very specific cause of this:

The difference remains the same when you replace the engine after like 200-250k miles and also the maintenance of the engine...

I remember when it used to be $.20 more. (old man shakes fist at clouds)

Having had the CX-5 Turbo before I traded it for a GR Corolla, I can confidently say that 87 made zero difference in the low end. Which is where the car spends most of its time. Having used 87 in the cold dead of winter, I may as well be using premium since the intake air and charge cooled air post intercooler is

Speaking as someone who spent $1000 on gas in a week and half last year, drove about 4000 miles for the vacation, I’m glad I got a electric car for daily driving and etc...

I like what Mazda does with the 2.5 Turbo. Premium is not required, it has two power outputs - 227 HP or 250/256 HP and 310 or 320 lbft based on the rating (87 or 93) and you can use Regular no problem. They advertise this and let the consumer decide. More manufacturers should do this IMO

So, because it was free on Audible, I’m listening to the book “Orange Crush” by Tim Dorsey.

Outright criminal.

Thatis not stand your ground, that is a psychopath having a temper tantrum.

Florida is full on Idiocracy. I fully expect that in the next legislative sessiona Republican legislator will propose a bill that renames the law: “Stand your Fucking ground, bitch!”

I hope this guy inhaled glass particulates from shooting through the windows.

Uh, how is it stand your ground when it very much appears you started lifting and firing your weapon before the other vehicle was even fully alongside?

A good defence attorney is worth the cost.

It’s insane that this is considered stand your ground.
