The driver gets out with a firearm.

It’s almost like there shouldn’t be as much free parking taking up space on crowded city streets?

My parent’s had a 2000 (2001?) Accord v6 that munched 2 transmissions in under 100k miles. They replaced it with transmission #3 while it was still under warranty and immediately sold it (traded it in?) to let it be someone else’s problem.

Yup!  I haven’t seen it since it was released, but it was a fantastic show.  Still remember the “see, you’re not cut out to be a firefighter” scene.

Exactly.  Not only is it more sanitary, but it means that both sexes have to do something before they use the toilet.  It eliminates the question as to who has to do “more work”, as well as the idea that women are going to “fall in because they just assumed that the seat was down and it was dark...”

I’m super excited to see what PT Barnum can do with that guy from 2 Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place!

Every Boomer I knew fell in love with that crap, and just about every non-Boomer rolled their eyes at the whole situation.

I graduated HS in 1994. I know *exactly* what type of amorphous blobs were being released during the 1990s(looking at you, Taurus). And trust me, in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s there were plenty of fun, interesting cars. Celica, Integra, GTI, Eclipse, Gallant, Impreza, Tiburon, Prelude, IS300, and so on. Oh wait,

Honestly? It epitomizes the “retro” trend that automakers dry-humped to death in a desperate appeal to Boomers while utterly ignoring the rest of the market. It was the worst of a shitty trend that also included the Beetle, HHR, SSR, Thunderbird, Prowler, MINI, etc. At least some of those had redeeming features, like

Blue bubbles.

While true, in my mind it’s still a $2k car.

I still can’t fathom Hyundai/Kia not putting engine immobilizers into their cars. My Scion tC from 2005 has one (purchased brand new at $16k).  I just assumed that all cars had them until hearing about this new Kia Boyz bullshit.

It's the modern day equivalent of "BUY GOLD NOW!!!!"

Sounds like everyone else is an idiot.

Eh, how slow were you going to get “mid-20mpg” on the highway? I had a ‘95 with the 4sp auto and the 4.0 and I don’t think I broke 20mpg....... ever. Sister had a ‘97 (?) Wrangler with the 4 cylinder and she also would routinely get mid-to-upper-teens gas mileage.  I’ve certainly never heard of someone getting mid-20s

Not so sure about that, a friend had their car broken into and their (nice) road bikes were stolen.  The insurance company bought them two new road bikes, including ones that were quite a bit better than what they had had previously.

It's a BEETLE.

Lol, nope, just someone who enjoys ABB over shitty, over-priced hotels.

I mean, we all laugh at “dumb military guys” buying shit that they don’t need and going deep into debt with it, but that seems to be par for the course for my neighbors in my nice little suburban neighborhood, too.
