Lol, it’s not “deliberately” causing congestion by putting bike lanes on arterial streets, it’s acknowledging that bikes belong on arterial streets for the same reason cars do: it’s because it gets them where they want to go. You’re just pissed because you might be slightly inconvenienced just so that some cyclist

Lol, what options are “removed” and why can’t you “go to what’s close” again?

Actually, most states allow it, although in a few big ones like Florida and Texas it’s still illegal. California has a separate statute that governs it (ie, much lower fine and you don’t lose your driver’s license). Here’s the full list: https://bicycleuniverse.com/dui-on-a-bike/

Heh, right now I ride my lightweight single speed everywhere I go. So sometimes I’ll ride 15 or 25 miles (round trip) to go visit friends and whatnot. If I had an ebike I’d probably still go the same distance, just expend a whole lot less effort.

I live in Madison, WI, and a bartender I was chatting with a year ago had ended up with a high-end electric bike (long story) and he said he rode it *everywhere*, rain, snow, etc. Far easier to ride it home from the bar at 2 or 3am and not have to worry about having drank too much, or where the car was, or parking, or

Lol, the “negatively impacts motorists” is usually things like slowing traffic down so that they stop killing people who are walking, biking, etc.

Adding infrastructure to give people choices sounds like a “sandpaper handjob”?

Why does everyone keep thinking “because this idea doesn’t work for where I personally live at this moment in time, it sucks”? This isn’t about you and your living outside some shithole city in New England (Hartford, I’m guessing?). It’s about actually building better communities, and better options for people to

Lol, I think your tinfoil hat is on a bit too tight...

I’ve purchased a couple Soundcore 2 and really liked it, but they were on sale for ~$30 each time. Offers twice as much power (12w vs 6w), and water resistance. Not sure I’d pay $22 for the original that’s quieter and no water resistance whatsoever?

Pretty funny since the “pizza boy” *is* the director of the first movie.

Most of the time that "there is no glass" I'm out and about for some reason and I definitely don't want glass bottles in that situation. Heavier to carry, less recyclable, and you can't bring it in to local parks.

What’s a “bottle” these days?  Cans or GTFO.

Any prepayment penalty has to be upfront in the Truth In Lending document (I believe).  So yes, definitely double check before taking my advice.

These have been $50 for almost a year now.  Definitely not a Kinja “deal”.  They may or may not be good earbuds, but there’s certainly no reason to rush out and buy them now (other than the fact that this is probably just a paid advertisement post).

Lol, just because you can get *a* good discount” doesn’t really mean much these days. Anyone can get *a* discount when the dealer or manufacturer is desperate. The point is how you get the *biggest* discount, and that’s generally not going with the dealer’s “zero percent” marketing bullshit.

No, the best way would be to take whatever shitty high-interest loan that they give you (and corresponding massive discount on the car’s base price), and then pay off the loan the next day.

OK, I have to jump in here. Ramsey was technically incorrect, however he actually was on the right track. It can be more expensive to buy a car at 0% interest than other options offered by the dealer.
