I love that VW is making this car. I am excited to see how it compares to the new WRX/STI if we ever see them. I want to like the car, it looks great from most angles, but that front is ugly. It looks like a grouchy cookie monster muttering under it’s breath... I’ll wait until I see it in person before I pass final

1st Gear: I don’t really want to buy another ICE car, but my wife’s escape is getting long in the tooth, and there aren’t any options in our price range for electric vehicles that are bigger than the escape and offer AWD... so ICE it is, at least for now.

I’m in the US, I don’t think we got a 22B STI, but I do love whenever I see a 22B, my neighbor has one and I drool over it. I don’t think we got the RA-R over here either, we have the RA (I also love this current gen of WRX/STI) but they’ve made so many special editions of this gen that it feels less special to me.

this actually might be my favorite STI to date...

Ask GM...

I support this.

Since when is the Edge a small SUV?! Ford makes 3 (maybe even 4 now) SUVs that are smaller than the edge, because the edge is huge.

There was one of these in my town growing up. I always assumed it was a one-off or a kit car but this article finally showed me what it really was! Great article, thanks!

I would guess that 66% of people are too embarrassed to say they don’t know how to drive a manual, or the people they surveyed are older, when manuals were more normal and you had to know how to drive one.

I have AWD and I still use winter tires, but I’m in Michigan so it’s usually needed. That and my summers would be downright irresponsible to drive in the winter.

probably the dreamcast. I bought it after it was cancelled for a really good price. The graphics honestly felt more crisp and clean than the PS2 (which I also had), and for a time I loved the dreamcast... but I plugged in a controller while the dreamcast was on and doing that fried it... I was so mad and disappointed

This is mildly related, but someone pointed out to me that since the pandemic started they’ve seen a lot of cars with the license plates removed entirely driving around. Now that they’ve pointed it out to me I’m seeing a lot of the same thing - no temporary and no license plate - nothing! Has anyone else in the Jalop

88 Fiero GT. It might be a POS but I’ve always loved them. Plus they made the 88 better so its the BEST of the Fieros.

they’re pretty plentiful up here in and around Michigan. If you’re willing to travel to pick it up they can be had for under 10k

Fiesta ST. Great for cities, manual, fun!, hatch for camping (for one, maybe two people), reliable to get you to florida, and they can be had under 10K with under 100k miles!

You can get any color you want, as long as it’s white...

How would a normal person that doesn’t get to drive luxury sports cars and supercars all the time feel about it?

plus the new GT has the refreshed face, which is butt ugly.

what about this:
